I'm a 70 year old man, I have been in the construction business and mining equipment parts and maintenance. I've been in all kinds of situations with broken equipment. We had a dead axel on a D9 cat to break. We got the old one out and they wanted us to load the dozer on a truck and send it to press in a new dead axel. We emptied out a refrigerator and put the new dead axel in it wrapped it in burlap and dry ice. The next morning me and my partner Reggie loaded it in the bed of a pickup and headed to where the dozer was broken down. Mechanics at the dozer put two rosebud torches heating up the frame hole for the dead axel. We had the old dead axel hanging from a crane line. Reggie and I got the new axel out of the pickup carried the maybe 10 feet to the dozer. Set it in place and used the old dead axel to hit this one on the end. Two taps with the old axel and it was in place and you could hear the metal bump and stretch as the axel warmed up. We were all pleased with ourselves the way you guys were please with yourself. Good job.

You're dealing with the Post Command, the Unit that owned the equipment, the EPA and your own Chain of Command. 10 times out of 10 I was the lowest Ranking of the bunch and everybody wanted it done yesterday. Then i picked it back up last week beginning with the foundation footings passing code and the pour. What a phenomenally beautiful demonstration of team work on the natural. I was mostly impressed when you honored the people that came and worked with you on this labor of respect . im and old lady now but i think you are the coolest thing sinced sliced bread. Amazing job. You guys are gifted. After the boat ride, there was discussion around why the boat picked up speed in the shallower water. I have huge experience in driving boats and especially jetboats. The reason a planing hull picks up speed in shallow water, is due to the pressure wave beneath the hull. In shallow water, this pressure wave exerts an increased lifting force, resulting in the boat riding higher, with less drag and increased speed and less fuel consumption.

I have a broken ankle and a ruined right knee. I can get around but it's very painful. I think I've watched every video you have. Some multiple times. I love the one when you dragged the escavator for 7 Miles. You have made my two years stuck at home and not being able to work really comfortable. Thanks

Very entertaining. And, luck was on your side on that one lol. I've got 26 years in off road/heavy haul trucking and know all too well how miserable that soft, sloppy ground can be. Great work gentlemen!

@@hendrikwilfriedlaporte5755 You do know that crude oil is used in more than just gasoline. Let’s see here it’s in ink plastic asphalt. Ammonia and even in computers. And this is a very short list. Do do some research before you start complaining about something.

Did you ever think of putting your pulling straps or chains through a 4" to 6" pipe section to protect from tracks or Incase line snaps ? And when going down hill pulling something you could anchor back to another vehicle to keep it from running away with no brakes kind of like two tug boats moving a larger boat ?

Yes they did but they are saving that for another day can't show it all at once. Rome wasn't built in a day you know. "It wasn't built by Romans either" Or put another way Confucius he say "pee off why should I share my hard earned knowledge with you" His only genuine ever saying. Wink wink
