Just FYI weapon handling does NOT fully fix the weapon. It may appear as if it’s fully repaired, but in reality, the gun’s at like 40% durability. I’m aware of this because I tried killing some plague hearts with a g18 auto and after about 1.5 mags, it broke, but after using weapon handling, it was fixed, but from that point on, until I legitimately repaired it, it broke after about 40 shots

I always do the empty outpost trick. I have another trick i tried which you may or may not know. It takes time, but it got me alot of extra rucksacks. At an outpost you can switch characters and when you change out of a survivor with a rucksack, They keep the bag on untill you yourself take it off. So, at the outpost i bring my people to me, put a rucksack on their back, let them run home, and unload them when i get back. Just a fun little way to get some extra loot if you find yourself flooded in it.

It doesnt actually repair it the jam isn't really supposed to show up red it just means you cant shoot the gun, it doesnt fix it just unjams the weapon that is fairly uncommon unless you span auto all the all

I used the bulk plague cure with a pathology medical character, and it cost 15 plague samples instead of 20, just as an fyi to anyone wanting to maximize their gains Thank you for sharing that weapon handling trick. I didn't try it myself, but I'd have thought it would revert a red gun to yellow instead of fully repaired, but fixing it completely is a game-changer 👍

Kitchen is very helpful. You can ration food. Everyone consumes 50% less food for a slight stamina decrease. Also, much of the negative effects of rationing can be mitigated if you have a cook leveled up with the nutrition skill. You can also make feasts for a cost of 3 food. They give stamina/health bonuses along with a morale boost. Feasts are very helpful for high stakes missions.

Here’s something I never see on any of the tip videos on SOD2. When you start a new playthrough don’t be so quick to pick a leader if you plan to play with the community until they all die off. Search via radio or random missions for survivors to add temporarily. These survivors are meant to be expendable. If you get those survivors to hero you can make them the leader. Now from here you can build or upgrade a certain facility for that specific leader and once you’re done you can exile them or expose of them the way you see fit. When they leave there facilities and special radio perks stay with you and your community. At the moment for my base I have an armory and trade depot. Let’s just say I worry for nonething.

I've setup my outposts differently and I think a lot of you might like it. 4 houses providing 8 beds..1 power station..1 water tower. It freed up 2 bed slots in my base which i turned into Hydroponics with bins. I also run a still to produce fuel from the extra food. 9 people and 12 food produced leaves quite the surplus.

I have an upgraded lounge which adds beds as well and a character that sleeps anywhere. Not sure about you folks but I want my base to have more functionality and beds do nothing for you hence the outpost setup.

when u or ur friends die and u leave the area(or if u stay a long time u see then come back like z..., or come back later, u can find then turned in zombies, in the same area they die.... u can kill the zombie friend and catch the loot, sorry english is not my main language

You don’t have to leave the slot open, you get the same result mostly if you keep the all outposts full then just closing the one you need least every time you need one, that way you don’t lose the extra benefit of the last outpost slot. I use this all over the map. Also you could update that workshop to the max and still use the ammo mod.

What about using cars to storage of spare resources and lock doors. And using house windows to kill infestations with suppressor. Also using reverse drive to kill hordes of zeds without smoke. And use Gunslinger skill to autoaim on jumping feral's head. I dont know who does all of that but i do.

I think its more cost efficient to sell regular plague cures than that box, influence def is not a problem late game cuz u get so much out of Killing special zombies that u gonna be rich anyway by just going outside and killing shit. Also u can get close combat skill on ur characters and make them kill everything (even Juggs and ferals) for free with just ur Knife, u dont even need to use a big melee weapon or firearms. But the best thing u can do to make the game ez is just get a character with the trader leader just so u can get the trading depot, after that u can Kill/exile and be set for the rest of ur game.

UGHHHHHHHHHH i only got gunslinger on people because a .22 revolver with the "click A to snap to headshot" sounded so strong ... and it is because revolvers dont jam, but all the other guns i have to pay50-100 to fix ... but the revolver with gunslinger is amazing 8 round mag reloads in 1.5 sec destry hordes, if i could put a silencer on the thing would be the second most op thing in the game... idk who u get ur information from but u earned a sub been watch since before u got ur 1k spike NJ, keep up the work would love to crash ur game :P
