Current Lagoon employee! Cliffhanger, Samurai and Turn of the Century ( The Swings) are down for the season due to late parts. I have heard though that even if they got Cliff working, they wouldn't open it till next season. The line for Primordial now has extended around that curve leading towards the pavillions, so its a way longer wait now. I did not know about the new signs till i watched your video! Nice to know they did that. I also don't know if you know, but Log Flume will not be open at all. I have heard plans for it are underway and it will be 2 years till we see something there, but definitely a newer log ride! Another area you need to check out in pioneer village is the Davis Jail. Its really hidden so you will have to look around, but its a really nice place to go to get away from heat! Love your content and hope to see you when I am there!

I work at the food stand right by where the log flume was and have a clear view of where it used to be, and they’ve already completely taken it out

Lagoon is the best park ever! I live like 10 minutes away! That was actually my first job I ever had when I was 15! Crazy that was over 12 years ago!!!

@@thexpproject no not to many fun stories but it was probably the best job I’ve ever had! I was so young and would just work and talk with my friends all day! We actually worked the catering business for parties they host at those pavilions in the back! It was so chill! I always loved there chicken strips I get them every time I’m there!

The week that you weren’t at lagoon, I was able to be there. Rattlesnake rapids was open that week and the wait was 5 minutes. The reason was because the website still said the ride was closed but the weather was really nice, from 10:00 to 2:00 it wasn’t really crowded but at 3:00, a bunch of people started showing up to the point were we had to leave. That’s my little lagoon update for you.

i got 7 rides on primordial in a day due to crazy amounts of rain the ride stayed up in the rain and everyone left the park. i waited on average 20 to 30 min for it

Tips from me get there in the morning and ride the big rides first in the day and then go on the less popular rides as the day gets busier. I would hit cannibal and primordial first thing.

The thing with cliffhanger, from what I heard from maintenance, is that the type of ride it is isn’t meant to have water. It causes the brakes to not stop the ride at the home position which causes the ride system to freak out and fault.

Yeah! It’s a mix of two things that don’t work together and I bet the maintenance team hates this ride 😂😂

I went on Rattlesnake Rapids two weeks ago and though it was open the water fall was still disabled. Even so I still got a solid splash or two down my back. I think they should put some kind of seatbelts on that ride like they do on most other rides of that kind elsewhere. With the way people stand up in the boats to move around and avoid the water fall, I can see that it might cause a boat to capsize one day. The rules to stay seated are there for a reason and need to be enforced.

The park got way too top-heavy with Primordial... they spent 4x more money on that than cannibal, so everyone is going to line up for it. It's made even worse that the capacity is terrible, so the line will always be long. Now, seeing all the closed rides makes me not regret passing on a season pass this year
