Best episode ever boys. Absolutely outstanding insight from yourselves and Mitchell. Credit to the show and your interview style for getting all that on tape. Felt like I was a fly on the wall at the coffee shop whilst you boys were having an honest chat about origin. If Mitchell comes back before game 3 - would love to hear about the famous sledging battle between him and JT in the 2015 series - and what the feelings were like to get that series win in 2019 after so many tough losses. Cheers boys.

I’m adamant Gallen cost NSW so many games by taking 40 x shitty hit ups every game. Especially when we were in a great attacking position. When he was tackled he would take forever to get up, so there was more pressure on the next play.

As a Qlder I never understood why Gallen got selected..
@iancocks94085 ай бұрын
Gallen was bad but nsw often have the problem that they can’t attack. QLD usually has really good attack. NSW should not bother with defensive mindset. Need to score points like qld.

QUESTION!!! Hey boys I had a question for a future podcast, obviously the NQ Cowboys have found a bit of form recently but were really down in the dumps a couple of weeks ago, just wondering how big of a difference you boys think it makes with the team being up in Townsville and having less pressure and media outlets, and what do you think the club needs to do to get back to being title contenders

Chur brothers. Love the podcast, been subscribed since day 1! Lachie Galvin said last week he will be seeing his contract out and is happy at the tigers. Also denied what he was reported to have said in the changing room about wanting out. Buzz making up stories hahaha. With the Tigers missing so many players last couple of weeks Klemmer, Papalii, Bateman just to name a few, do you think Benjis coaching influence is starting to show with what he's done with these guys. I know it's only 2 wins, but they seem more confident executing plays at the moment.

In that 2006 game after QLD took the lead NSW kicked it to Petero and he was picked up and driven back into touch. Apparently the ref called held and it ended up being a penalty. In both of your opinions do you think that was the correct call, I'm a very bias NSW supporter but it looked like it was a legitimate "legal" effort to get him back into touch.. love to hear your thoughts. Sorry to bring it up again Mase 😅

Hey lads wondering if you have any thoughts on Hornby coming out in the media saying Graham and Munro both looking more unlikely to make a return at all this season, is that just down to the way the injury has healed or difference of approach from S+C/club medical involved in their rehab etc?

Hey lads, Just wondering if you had any insite into why radley has moved to rightside second row? Do you think its a defensive thought to protect sammy walker or an offensive move to use Whyte at lock to straighten up attack as radley can tend to ball play more?

@shiresmokersbbq87045 ай бұрын
Love that idea of the additional player on the bench. If the game was a bit more like Rugby Union where positions particularly in scrums were more required it would probably be in by now. I’m also of the opinion however that there are too many substitutions and fatigue isn’t there to bring the smaller players in at the back end of halves when players are tired. Do you think that less substitutions would potentially reduce the poor decisions in the game and injuries from high speed efforts, concussions and similar? Do you think this might be the counter argument to bringing in an additional player on the bench?

Does nicho really have the temperament? Think about how competitive the qld play makers are. They win on will, but I don’t ever sense that type of desire or desperation from Nicho. Hard to tell from the outside mean no disrespect, but I don’t sense it.

I think the Warriors should stop playing AFB I was at the game as a Titans fan and you could tell he did not give a crap, after the game he didn't shake any of his teammates or Titan players hands or didn't spend anytime with the huge amount of Warriors fans that made the trip and just went straight to the sheds. (Obviously there are bigger problems but this doesn't help)

Boys, do you think the coaching barbs have taken away from the fact that Walsh is probably the most out of form player on the field tonight? I’m a NSW fan but I don’t think we missed a trick not playing on the fact that Walsh has played 7 mins of footy in the last month, had a bad head knock. And the last game he played was in a loss against the titans where he recorded 2 touches in the second half. Gun player and can turn it on at any moment. but surely NSW should have played on this given the stage.

Man im sick and tired of NSW picking these ball playing forwards in Yeo and Jake Turbo. Yeo either starts or he isn't in the team, Jake is past it should not be in the team. Going forward leave Cam Murray at lock and just get a hard bastard to partner Haas in the front row to go one two punch through the middle and rotate with Leniu. Stop complicating things NSW

Hey boys long time listener first time commenter could you please explain what you mean when you talk about tempo LEVELS TO THE WORLD!!
@vincentwilliams90365 ай бұрын
I think when they say tempo, they mean changing gears when you have the ball. You might sprint when you first get the ball to engage the defenders and then slow up before you play out the back or short to hold the defence up and give your receivers more time or space.

Leading up to origin and reflecting back on the red card. I played a game of footy (union) a couple weeks back. An opposition player tapped the ball on a penalty and ran straight at me before he got to me and lowered down to about my hips, I dropped but my shoulder hit him square in the end and laid him out. He lay on the ground and the ref blew his whistle awarding us a knock on. His team blew up about how I’d hit him in the head etc etc. the refs response was, if he’s not going to look after himself by running like that then he needs to be expected to be hit in the head. My question is. When is it going to become as much the ball carrier’s responsibility to look after themselves with ball in hand as much as the defending player? And when are we going to call accidents as they are and not ruin games for accidents.
