Hey Dave I have been binge watching your videos and wow you are my favourite watch channel on youtube. You are a humble man that just loves watches and that is what I love. Hats off to you.

Robert Channa - Thank you Robert! That's very kind. I appreciate you watching and engaging. There's a lot of fun to be had (and money to be spent!) in this hobby. Best wishes to you.

Dave - love your channel, my friend. Something about the way you speak about watches just strikes a nerve with me and I really dig it. I imagine the easy solution to your C. Ward conundrum would be to go and pick up the 38mm black ceramic model, but I get what you mean about wanting to focus on brands with some major sentimental attachment of some kind. If you do end up with that Hamilton, I can't help but imagine that it'd look INSANE on a blue croc strap of some kind. I'd recommend one of the ones we do at Theo & Harris, but I'll spare you the shameless plug because it's late and I'm tired hahaha. At this point, I just want to see you adorn that thing with some kind of blue leather because it would compliment that dial something special. Cheers!

Dave...you & I have so much in common when it comes to watches. The CW Trident was my first really good watch. My crown jewel is an Omega SMP. I started with an SKX & a Laco fleiger. I also kick myself for not getting a Seiko Brightz. Thanks for the video.

A very balanced collection and beautiful pieces in there. I do follow the same philosophy as you do, what is not worn has to leave. I am as well have a thing for heritage and history of brands and watches or watch designs so totally understand your decision letting the CW go. Look forward to find out whats coming, keep them coming Dave, cheers, Konstantin

Man that Speedy Pro Coaxial is AMAZING. What reference is that?? I'm having so much trouble finding a speedy pro with coaxial movement that has a three register layout w/ date. That is PERFECT and looks so much more 'classic moonwatch' than the current offering in bicompax layout

After quite a bit of searching, I found 311.30.44.50.01.002 which I believe to be the one. I think that's the watch for me right there and I'm definitely going to have to pick one up ASAP

Yes. I believe that's it. I have a full video review of it as well.

Just found this channel and it is growing to be one of my favorite watch channels! Thoroughly enjoyed this collection - truly an inspiration for my personal collection (I am too a "collector of 'wearable watches'"). Thanks for sharing!

Good review. I watched because I spotted a Trident 600 - YOUR Trident 600 - for sale near me, and wondered if I should buy or trade for it. The tallness and weight are too much, as I have let similar or nicer watches go for those very reasons. Thanks again.

PS: rather than a dressy diver, consider a good GMT with a steel (not black or colored) bezel. For example a Breitling Avenger II GMT, I love mine. Pics on IG @eric.nielsen.avl - cheers.

New viewer, so don't know if you answered this already, but what's your wrist size? Nice collection!

Value value value. Keeping the Omegas, letting the Ch Ward go and rocking the super nice modded SKX as the go-to diver is the way to go. Have you considered the Longines 1945 to strengthen the dresswatch section in your watchbox ?
@DavesWatchLove6 жыл бұрын
hervé Chretien - Thank you for the kind comment. Longines make some great stuff, and the 1945 is a beautiful line of watches. I see a Longines in my collection someday. The challenge will be picking just one.

Interesting how our watch journey evolves. Very similar journey in many ways to myself.. Tend to prefer the simplicity of the sports watch now over the diver. Had similar experience with the c 60 pro . I’ve owned it on three occasions but always end up flipping it. Can’t disputable its such a well made watch that gives superb bang for buck . However I feel like you it has an identity crisis . It’s too dressy for a diver and too large and we tend to own other pieces that work better in a formal occasion so it’s caught in no mans land.

Hi , which.model is your first casio?

That is the Casio MTP3050D-2AV. I was just wearing it yesterday for the first time in forever remembering how much I enjoyed this very cheap and inexpensive watch.
