In this episode I'd like to present my collection of wristwatches. With a little explaining how I see wristwatches come twelve timepieces between entry class and high end in brief watch reviews. Brands in this video are Tissot, Rolex, Dubey & Schaldenbrand, Omega, Poljot, Vostok, Oris, Seiko and Seagull.

You`ve got an authentic vibe. I really like how congruent your watch collection is with your appearance, your character, your overall taste/style. Although it is not my style/taste, you get my respect for appreciating the deeper values those watches carry in them (I used to collect Russian watches) and for staying true to yourself and your style. You got some serious guitar skills too, brilliant playing!

A brilliant video. I really like how you like inexpensive watches too. I have some luxury watches but I also have loads of inexpensive watches that I really love wearing. You don't have to get an expensive watch to get a really nice, good quality watch. I have inexpensive watches that I like more than some of my more luxurious brands.

Absolutely Tim. Watches are more than just tools, and a collection of components, they each represent something which is non-tangible. An idea, a style, a memory, an era, they can represent so many things, and don't need to cost the earth. Look forward to more of your esoteric videos. Nos da.

I've been looking for an old american watch 20s-40s, Benrus, Elgin and Hamiltons. Something with a tank case with unique lugs and some fancy engraving. Maybe something like that might be fun for your collection since they are inexpensive and very different to anything made today.

For me, that Tissonic would delete the purpose of the Geneve based on looks alone. Tim, thank you for sharing and playing for us. Being able (and willing ... ) to appreciate a variety of watches across the horology spectrum is truly what this hobby is all about in my opinion. Unless it's a diver or a military watch. No one should own either. (That's a joke.)

I like your unpretentious style, which is reflected in the collection. Also the music, being a fan of Django myself (and of Grapelli, since I play the violine). I have a good suggestion for you: as you are a) German, b) a musician, c) a collector of limited or rare pieces, and d) you have hardly a colored dial or square watch, the Grönemeyer Stahl 1 would be a perfect watch for you! They come in green or blue by Wempe Glashütte, each was limited to 250 pieces. They would also fit your style of clothing, and you could wear them for concerts. And Grönemeyer is a good musician and fellow watch collector. So keep your eyes open, in case you come across one.

I wear the Sea-gull 1963 on the green nato using the method which only has one layer of strap between the back of te watch and the wrist. I have the Poljot alarm which is a great conversation piece. I agree about searching out rare vintage watches. I collect Sea-gull St5 watches which are very accurate hand winders from the late 1970s. I have 3. I just found a rare Sea-gull St5d with a date. Pinkish red sunburst dial with applied logo and indices in a brushed cushion type case. I also have a late 1970s Seiko 5 which is a classic style. My watchmender says the older Seiko's were the best. Less plastic I bought it and the Sea-gulls for £50 and will never sell any of them . Nice video sir. Keep them coming please.

Your collection has a focus on dressy watches which is a refreshing change from the tool watches and rich men's watches often found in other collections presented on KZbin. Consider obtaining the first watch design offered by Nomos in the 1990"s. A vintage Tagente will expand your dress watch range with a Bauhaus look. A rare 1998 18k gold Tagente with the ETA 7001 movement may spark your interest and is currently listed on Chrono 24.

I am new to your channel, having subscribed about a month ago. I have to say you’ve quickly become my favorite watch enthusiast/reviewer. And that’s saying something since I’ve subscribed to dozens. I love your take on collecting, and like you, I see watches for their style and beauty more than for their performance or function, and I certainly don’t focus on brand. Your approach speaks to a wide range of collectors, inclusive of all budget ranges. Your lack of pretentiousness is refreshing, and as long as you keep making videos, you’ll have a viewer and fan in me. Keep up the excellent work

Hi Tim. I agree with your comment that $8K is a lot of money to have tied up in anything! Your watch collection is not entirely to my taste but mine may not be to yours. That’s the fun of it: whatever floats your boat! Also I applaud your homage to Django!!! I saw a fender headstock behind you in your video and wondered what your involvement with the guitar was. I see you are quite studied and accomplished in that art. I’m also a guitarist, more in the blues/rock tradition in practice, but I I admire many artists and styles of playing. Django, Charlie Byrd, Pat Metheny, John McLaughlin, and of course my direct influences like Hendrix, Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and many many others too numerous to list. Anyway great applause for your playing!!! Oh, and I recommend a cool Seiko diver, like an Seiko SKX009, SKX007, or, for a more compact look, SKX013! Cheers and play on Brother!

Great vid as always and great collection to. My absolute favorite was the Dubey&Schaldenbrand, superb looking watch. My recommendation for your next purchase would be a nice 36-38mm semi-vintage divewatch. Not your style maybe but everyone should have one and maybe you could pull off a two-tone. Something like a 38mm Squale 1545 two-tone. Loved the tune, keep up the good work.

You can leave out the 7-Elevens and McDonald's please, ha.. Hey, I think you need a watch with some color, a watch that has a fun color! It needs to be a watch that says, "Hey, look at me,, I'm a bright colored watch, gaze at my funky cool and crazy color. Like a yellow Omega Reduced Speedmaster Schumacher for example, but maybe more color. From a distance the color scheme of your watch collection put together in the last shot was like blahhhhh. I'm thinking about the Cyndi Lauper song "True Colors." Bring it!
