Great to see you again James, been far too long. Love the collection although I’m not that struck on vintage. The one for me is the Cartier and your right a quartz one was not on the radar, but I love it so that would not bother me either and armed with the education about the movement, it’s the one I want. On the Fears strap it looks wonderful. I met Nick from Fears last year and I know how nice the strap is as I bought a Streamline. Congratulations on the business and the Fears tie up. Found out a few weeks ago the Baltic you sold me belonged to Nick too. 😁

I love to see you progress, James. I am one of those who has tuned in from your first video. I feel the same way about Seiko. I am hot and cold about the brand. I have had Seiko 5s on up to the first big money 62 MAS reissue and many watches in between. I have zero now but am hankering to jump back in. My last that I sold a few months back was the SLA033 Captain Willard. Maybe I will buy the newer cheaper version of that with the green dial. Who knows. It is always nice to check back in and see you doing well. Take care. Michael

Mate love the collection! I am more of a minimalist intentional collector so my rule of thumb is to never own more than 3 automatic watches at one given time! One out and one in - always sell one before I buy. That way my watches get more wrist time.

Have you considered getting the bb36 back? That watch alone makes me wish I had smaller wrists. It’s about as perfect as a 3 hand watch can get imo. Praying one day they’ll make a 38mm version.

Jeeze, you work/worked for Beaverbrooks and you say meaningless things like 'Indices' why? because Indices is Algebra, which shows how many times a number or letter has been multiplied by itself. It has nothing to do with watches at all - but a watch expert would know this. the proper word is 'Marker'. I used to work for H Samuel and Half Price Jewellers and I was trained properly. I didn't take the Jet Certificate, as I got a job in management for someone else and the pay was better.
