Seeing the full picture isn’t good for us until our consciousness is mature enough to cope with it. I learned too much too early and was filled with anger and despair at the scale of the suffering for years. It’s only with awareness of our true spiritual nature and lots of shadow work that it’s become possible for me to face it in a healthy way. ❤

I have maybe 40 years left.. how can i truly live... how can I serve.. how can I find true authentic joy... what does it mean to be a spiritual human being.. all I know is that I dont know and pray/meditate that the road becomes clear.. With deep love and humility.. may we all be guided toward our highest way of being.

Thank you so much Charles. You have the gift of voicing the ineffable. Our souls know you are speaking a deep truth. The world around us seems to be on fire, consumed by shadows, but it is the love and light that endures. My favourite poet is Eugenio Montejo. He was also a prophet like Charles in many ways is. I would like to share a poem from him, to offer some solace in return for the solace of this video. The Earthdom of a Bird The earthdom of a bird is its song, what leaves its breast and returns to the world, the echoes of an invisible choir in a forest long dead. Its earthdom is the dream of finding itself among all those absent ones, of repeating the melody right to the end while its travelling wings cross the open breezes; even though it doesn’t know for whom it sings or why or if one day it will be able to hear itself in others as every minute it would like to be: more innocent. From birth nothing separates it from its earthly task; it toils in the sun, procreates, looks for crumbs and only its voice defends it for in the dimension of time it is not a bird but a single ray in the night of its species, an interminable hunting for life that the song may endure.
@constancewalsh364611 ай бұрын
This is profound and exquisite. Thank you for sharing Montejo- I will look for him and perhaps read in the original.

A friend of mine travelled through Iraq and Iran a few years ago and the pictures she took of all of the Mosques over there were incredible. The intricate details in the artwork of the architecture and the wall and ceiling murals were insane and extremely beautiful. I've never seen anything like it save an acid trip and even at that it was more beautiful than any psychedelic trip, almost more intricate, and with a colour pallete more appealing than the stark neons of psychedelic trips. But most importantly it was real, it was manifested in stone, mineral and colour in our present world. Just incredible. Awe inspiring like you say. But yes, we've lost the desire and discipline to create beauty and expertly artistically crafted items in the world around us, homogenised everything, cheap clothing, plastic toys, plain designs, concrete slabbed everything. I really feel it in relation to my mental health. Living among nature there is so much beauty, diversity of shape and pattern and intricacy. Living in modern society is soul crushing. Ancient and indigenous cultures made an affort to create and build beauty wherever they could, good quality, artistically crafted and beautifully designed everyday items. I long for it and weep for what is lost.
@ingehanson11 ай бұрын
What is lost now will come back more beautiful on a more higher exalted way. Yes, the ugliness all around us now is stark. Even the new TV news set ups are just horrendously empty, plain and ugly. But thinking back when those beautiful mosques or cathedrals adn churches were built - there was often lots of ugliness around in the human environment. So the creative spirit got to work and lifted humanity up a step. We are once again down in total stark muddy ugliness, good time for some to beautify things. I always tried wherever I went. At 85 I can no longer upkeep my small and large rock garden which contained rocks, flowers, bushes, statues of Buddha, Mother Mary, Angles, Totem poles and animals. I tried to cooperate as much of the universe as possible. Maybe someone can take the idea improve it and advance it for others to see as well.

Thank you so much Charles and Patsy for bringing light to what is happening. It is helpful in processing the terrible things which are happening and what to do about them. In respose to this for a few years now my partner and i keep feeling the need to simplify life and live much closer with Nature, which we have followed. Friends and family think we're nuts. Increasingly it feels there is a profound wisdom and intelligence in the land, trees and nearby streams and rivers. These are our elders and I feel helped and guided in how we are growing food with more shrubby perennials, trees and throwing locally grown/saved seed on the ground at times of the year as the plants naturally do. We have lots of failures. It takes time doing most things by hand and looks messy and that weedy looking plants and long grass are taking over. Have realised just how entrenched our conditioning of the importance productivity and of what others think is and the importance of letting this go. When friends and family visit we can see them thinking what on earth are we doing! Just wondering if anyone else is feeling pulled to do stuff that doesnt look like much in all that is happening globally, yet it feels in our heart what we are called to do ?
@ingehanson11 ай бұрын
It is but it is a slow process. Our system is set up in such a way that it is not that easy at the moment for many unless one withdraws completely from society which is not the objective. But many have said that the coming unveiling or collapse so to speak will force people to rely more on small communities adn each other , rather than being ruled by a giant Federal government bureaucracy and bullying.
@verdiwyld11 ай бұрын
I agree. It seems in our past and now, we seem to flourish in ways that are beneficial to the whole Earth family when we are part of 2 or more smaller groups, including those connected to the place where we live, constantly morphing, disintegrating and emerging as part of the flow of life. I find Elinor Ostrom's and Martin Nowaks Super Cooperators work inspiring in a practical way.

When you brought us the image of the beyond-belief interior of the sacred place, I began to weep. At last! at last! someone who sees and Sees. Awe and grief my whole life through. Architecture, the language of the world, for life or for death. The artisans with their miniscule, intricate perfection have taken over the body-minds of Silicon Valley, the miniscule, intricate workings of your iPhone. Yet something is missing - their souls are dead. The gift remains but the soul - the feminine - has been replaced by a paycheck. Thank You, Charles, Thank You.

I resonated with the comment about the car being stolen. I was in an accident a week ago while on vacation, crashing into a very, very expensive car while driving a car loaned by friends. I immediately switched off The catastrophe scenarios running in my brain and focused on 1: calming my nervous system 2: doing what I needed to take full responsibility for my actions 3: calling in miracles and acting as though those miracles were going to happen. I was in a very precarious situation, yet over and over I got the miracles I needed. Far from wreaking my vacation, within 2-3 days I could see clearly how this served to make me stronger and it kept me from wasting time driving all over the area when I needed to stay put on the gorgeous sacred land I had the good fortune to be staying on. I’ve survived a heck of a lot of trauma in my life, and I’m not sure what it all means about my past. But I’d do know my future will be a lot brighter because of this experience… And I certainly agree our focus can shift out experiences dramatically. And maybe to really make a difference in Israel/ Palestine and the world, we need way more of us to be focusing simultaneously and consistently on miracles & intentions for peace…

At 85 I am happy that people like Eisenstein and others are working on it.

Perhaps Haakon's stolen car in his moment of transition was one of the organisme's most important messages regarding the State of the world. As you say so well Charles , becoming aware of our own destructive habbits, using polluting cars and planes, feeding unaware oilcompanys. Lifting up the vale, be fully part of this beautifull planet, feeling connected with all creatures great and small .. must surely also bring the wisdom and evident importance of health , beauty and fresh air for all. The stolen car also offers us our most powerfull tool to stop wars, mostly driven by the profits of global mass capitalism by simply not contributing x Sarah from Belgium
@sunmoonstars387911 ай бұрын
Be careful that your kind heart and good intentions are not being manipulated to support an agenda that will bring untold suffering and death to millions. The demonisation of oil and the push to move over to renewables completely is very dangerous for all but the uber wealthy. We do not have the means to fuel this world through wind and solar, we need oil for EVERYTHING (it’s literally used in every stage of the manufacturing and supply/distribution of everything we eat, wear,use), to think we should stop using it anytime soon is suicide. I love this planet passionately and I’m very against global capitalism, but I’m also not falling for the net zero/just stop oil narrative. The only ones who will benefit from this are those that wish they had more (much more!) of this planet to themselves.

I think Amina's questions could be considered in terms of your initial question : "What gets attention or who gets attention ? Why is war in the Holy Land the focus of so much interest and the sexual abuse of children - trafficking, the colonisation of indigenous cultures and the abuse of children in state foster care who have later ended up in prisons, mental hospitals, addiction rehabs and homeless not ever the focus ? Why is this kind of community that you are interested in creating to ask these kind of questions needing to have financial membership ? I am not trying to be critical Charles but I think a big amount of the bypass relates to the focus on what directly affects Western values of money and power. Why do we have such unhealthy expressions of power in the West might be the questions to consider ? To me, we have to excavate below what the function of the power and domination has been ie what is it operating to achieve and maybe why this need arose in the first place. Here is my attempt to understand the under layer of power. The historic conditioning of suppression of fully inhabiting our bodies and therefore our true power in Western cultures has necessarily meant that we have been trained to be and feel powerless unless we can accumulate wealth and influence. Away from the natural divine ability to feel powerful in our bodies. This led to the need for indigenous cultures to be dominated, to have false narratives portrayed about their aggressiveness (such as the native Americans in Westerns, the South African narratives about negroes, Maori in NZ portrayed as savage warriors) , portrayal as unproductive or laziness (an affront to Western ethos) to the mockery of their cultures as primitive. Really all these things provided a threat to the Western repressed peoples, particularly in relation to sexual energy (2nd chakra). Sexual repression (not just sex but power/creativity) finds its way out in the devotion to power over/money and the need to utilise children and vulnerable women as sexual marionettes. The fact that sexual predation of children is so rife indicates a lack of ability to engage in adult to adult sexual encounters with confidence. I;m not saying that collective individualist cultures have all the answers either because it seems to me that the world is moving towards a necessary conversation about how does the collective and the empowered individual interact. The interbeingness that you speak about. And I agree with what you are saying about premature conclusions - which means lets have all the factors on the table.... lets actively go towards the areas which we tend to avoid because that is where the veil has been thickest. The theft of the car speaks to the economic disparity and the criminalisation of poor people just as much as it does about the shock of a loss of property. You just have to look at the Crimes Act here in NZ to see that crimes relating to property are often more heavily punished than crimes of physical harm.... I am most grateful for your willingness to take a higher perspective Charles and I go back again - lets consider - what does get attention and resources ? and why.

What we need is a system that is fundamentally open source and decentralized. I'm talking about education, healthcare, government, intelligence agencies, and military to name a few. One of the gifts we have not taken advantage of that technology gives us is trustlessness. This can be applied both to money and systems of voting. We need a fundamental paradigm shift away from the infrastructure of secrecy, censorship and propaganda. And towards a system that recognizes each of us as sovereign individuals and empowers us to form a community that doesn't forget who we are.

And the warfare is so asymmetric that the amount of bombing and the plans in place of annihilation are so remarkable that the international criminal courts laid a verdict within the first 4 months. This coupled with the history of the situation is why it’s drawing attention. Not celebritization

Was there a Sergei Eisenstein, at some point, famously? May've made one of the first films in Russia, I can't really recall. There's an old saying, "there's no way to peace, because peace is the way". Attributed to whom? I've only heard the quote, not learned its source. So please ask representatives & leaders to do what they can to leverage peace. It's always us relatively poor people killing relatively poor people, relatively just like us, in other nations. After all, we the varied peoples of all nations tend to live by the credo of, "live and let live". So how to end the MIC?
