The games PvP is awful to be honest, being able to sit in spawn of open world and go stealth and Pj people on their spawn with 3-4 stuns and they die again, games sort of pathetic and the fact the PvP has barely any skill gap because of the stuns is brutal I think a lot of people on these gs dagger classes lack a massive amount of movement and PvP skill they just rely on something the game allows to be broken

About multiple characters you also need to take note the ping on each region so you cant really make a character on all regions then grind on it because some regions will be unplayable to you.

Also i dont know whats the hate with F2P being able to kill spender with a counter build. TnL is not other game where you spend and no F2P can kill you, it only speeds up your progress because eventually F2P will have max T1 gears too. The only thing they cant get is bellandir/tevent. If you want to spend and be unkillable go play Nightcrows🤣

not sure which part you mean, but if you're talking about using multiple characters to farm lucent, all lucent is shared account wide. so whatever lucent your alt makes is automatically shared with your main character. so many people run 2-3 alts to farm coop dungeons for traits and now gear drops in 2star dungeons.

Game is fine... i already left game 3 weeks ago. Game have a lot of potential, if they leaned more into Abyss dungeons and them going even deeper, would be atleast interesting to play than having Dailyes > Next character. Last tipping point for me was PvP and Trait system, as Melee build it was really fun to play against "all traits on gear" can be Melee Evasion and also as melee you have lowest Hit chance, i hate Trait system and it's options more than Lucent =), Evasion just felt over the board that basically locked you into certain gear if you even wanted to do any dmg in PvP.

WoW has free customization to your spec with its talents and trinkets, ESO has free customization with skill choices, GW2 has free customization with gear and talents. Meanwhile T&L aside from the few books you get at the start, if you want to try a build you have to start spending tons of money just to be even remotely as viable as your primary build. And before you say, just make new characters if you want to play other builds... you are only allowed to make 2 per server, so there goes that idea. Yea if I could play on my main server and run 8 characters this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but I do not want to have 2 characters per region just to try out different builds with different pings (ms)

I don't get your skin aspect, skin are hear to wear and conceal the character its a cosmetic. It's like that in 90% of all mmos. If you can't see it on the character, you'd need to open their details. But even opening details can be closed in the options. So in the end it doesnt matter.

Sorry original IP creator and lead dev of PENANCE here and I gotta say TnL is just a horid wreck of gear progressions stupidity. This continue gear grind gear advancement being used as progression and content is laughable. I simply dont care. Create 37 characters it wont change the game. How about one game that you play just one character and get where you want to be. These models are a joke and designed just to milk you like a cow. Competitive? This word to me means you and I can log in a duel naked, whom ever has the fastest fingers and ability wins. Skill issue. I fiddled with the settings and targetting is now good for me. We have an amazing shotcaller and our alliance dominates the server against other 2 italian alliance despite their huge numbers they cant do shit because we are super organized and competitive compared to them.

When I first playing this game, i'm expecting something like archeage ish combat, but in the end I just queue up my skill, then kill the enemy. It's very mind numbing and not fun. It's pain for me to say this but even archeage have a better combat than this garbage, and that's a game that came out decade ago.

0i wanted game like L2, with classes, leveling, open world pvp, crafting and all. It is marketed as pvp mmo, yet pvp is pointless and prob weakest part of the game. All progressing is low effort (dungeons, co-op dungeons, contracts and bosses, I dont understand how you can do same stuff over and over everyday and not get bored. It is like they put 90% of effort into visuals, sounds, but core system were made in easiest and most plain way. Weekend and max player count is ~90k, soon merges will start until there is nothing left to merge. Game is just built around monetization, not monetization around it. Was pretty fun for ~200h, after that it is just boring loop of dailies with pointless pvp.

T&L is a pvp focused game, and if you are playing it, that means you are - at least to a degree - a competitive person. So, you will either have to open your wallet, or dedicate half of your day to farming to be able to, and remain competitive in this game. Even worse, if you look at their "road map", they will release content so frequently, you will not be able to rest and enjoy your powers; by the time you catch up to whales, there will be new stuff to grind, and the stuff you have been grinding will become underpowered. There is a reason World of Warcraft has been the king for so long...they don't sell power.
