Wow, this is very powerful. I work with 2 inputs and one output; sometimes 2 inputs and 3 outputs. I stay lost SS model. Optimization of the states is necessary as well. Do you have any examples of two inputs and one output?

@5:00 shouldn't the final entry in the B matrix be a 1, why is it 4? and the C matrix should be [0 0 4] not [0 0 1]?

Your solution was confusing at first because some sources lists the system backwards as a_1(also, zero not used) being associated the highest derivative and a_n is the lowest. I prefer your notation, but we have it backwards :(

as i know , you can't. transfer functions only works when there is single input and single output. (SISO) Otherwise , we have to use state space models. (I'm not sure though:D)
