This was a great explanation! I've been scouring KZbin for resources on state-space and hidden markov models for animal movement. I've found there are just so many videos that think they are explaining things well, but get too caught up in statistical jargon, or are just not relevant to ecology. Even though this was pretty surface-level, it was a breath of fresh air!
