Can the constitution be charged without the people if its a contract by the people ? Can the people be forced into commerce under the government

Just a few thoughts: Our opinions on the need for (or even possibility of) a Constitutional Convention may be different two+ years from now (late 2024-2025), depending on conditions in the country. The greatest chasm in the U.S. today is not between states but within states, specifically urban vs. non-urban; our Constitution refers to states, but not to cities, which are vastly different social landscapes. The Constitution has more or less worked up to now (depending on how we define "worked"), but there is no guarantee that it will continue to work; the country is different now than it was in the 1780s, or even the 1980s. Can one document from 1789 continue to govern a country as diverse as the U.S.?

I firmly believe ,if we start down that road of saying the times dictate the Constitution meaning is dangerous ,and will be twisted and never ending and then how can we say this is still AMERICA by the people for the people !!

@@320cemanI haven't lived in the US for 21 years. America is fine, but I couldn't live in it.
