I am big fan of Trident. I have listened to all they do many times. They are so dedicated. Imagine the hours of rehearsal they do. You can tell their sound and know who they are, as compared to Band~Maid, or Scandal. They all have raised the bar on rock music.

Nagisa From the band Quince is an excellent choice for drums I think. She has that familiar feel that Junna gave the band without being overwhelming every time. Junna, however was and is capable of being more controlled in her playing. I saw in an interview that she wanted to become more of drummer for hire, so she could try different styles. I wish her luck. Asakas' guitar work has become more technical and integrates better with what Serina has been doing on bass. I saw this change while they did the last two covers of My First Story and On Ok Rock songs. I am glad she is showing off the skills she obviously has. They are sharing some kind news June 1st @ 19:00 JST.

For comparison sake, you should check out their very first official video when they were a four piece. They almost go back as far as Band-Maid, which is crazy, especially when you think about how well known they are. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGSvloF-e8eqrqM

"Constantly looking for new shit to love" is a good attitude to have. I also hope TRiDENT can pull off that tricky balancing act: maintaining their signature high-energy sound while exploring new musical directions. Asaka has a versatile, powerful and beautiful voice, and I would like to hear that vocal versatility put to greater use. (Maybe a ballad? Anyone who's heard Daydreaming by Band-Maid knows that a ballad can still kick you in the face.) I think this song sticks with their GRBK strengths while hinting at future developments, so that's good. Mostly, though, I'm just happy that they've survived the departure of their most recognisable member and they're still making music. Onwards!

Brats has released their fifth single this year recently called "Jigyakusei Loop". kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3_MpaNrqJ2grqM Also, if interested, the former contender for the vocalist position for Aldious, Saki has released album and a few videos from that album. She had her own pretty successful band called Cyntia that disbanded a few years ago. "Fight" is one song off the new album. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqbRhayHfrCmjtk

I really enjoy these conversations after music! My opinion on what Roger mentioned is two-fold. On one hand, I definitely get where he's coming from - we love it when bands not only play amazing music, but also find their own, distinct sound, their own style, and run with it. That makes the whole experience that much more interesting and rewarding. I'll be the first on the lists of "not complaining" and "fuck yeah!" if we see more bands with this kind of talent develop more diverse styles and experiment with new directions. On the other hand, I'm not gonna complain if they don't. If more talented bands play this sort of similar style, that's more music that we love and appreciate. There is a slight chance of it starting to sound a little 'samey' after 10 bands put out several albums of a similar style, but I'm fairly confident that the Japanese are too creative for that to happen. There's always gonna be something new and interesting. I mean, can you find 2 BRATS songs that sound the same? And they only have 1 album as of me writing this :D Speaking of which, BRATS have a few new videos, check them out! And also, if you feel like checking out a new band, here is one I don't think you've reacted to/talked about yet: The Winking Owl - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmGxhpiofLN8sKM

It’s nice to see Trident featured here. Now I was wondering if you have heard of up and coming group called “Wagamana Rakia 我儘ラキア”. They have a MV for a song titled “Rain” and I think you might like it.

Man imagine if the formation is Misa (bass) Junna (drum) Kanami (guitar) Mari Fukushige (keyboard) Remi Matsuo (vocal) That would be really crazy lol 🤣

Great video guys! I loved Junna, but im almost glad she left, she overpowered a lot of their songs imo... A balanced sound to match their energy seems more likely with this lineup!

@@npml4ever737 If you listen to Quince songs (the band the drummer was from) they have a lot more balanced sound. Junna is awesome but almost too much of a stand out, imo at least
