I saw them at Ozzfest in 99 I believe it was. Having never even heard of them. They absolutely stood out. Blew my face off which is why I'm so ugly. I got to meet them at a signing after their set. I feel lucky too. The only band I was happier to see was the Mighty Sabbath!

I saw Static - several times over the years. The most memorable show was when I was 16 at the Mercado Latino (a Mexican swap meet of sorts) in Bakersfield, August 2004. It was a bizarre venue for such a band but it was one hell of a show. RIP, Wayne.

It really sounds like there's lyrics before what is here. I used to have the album and pretty sure lyrics were inside. Can anyone hear what I'm hearing? It Kinda sounds like he says, "speak to the motion, you dont know me take my life...."or something near that, he is amazing at his lyrical gifts and the ability to say it at those speeds. It's a tough act to follow. Any static x lyrical aficionados please come to my aid. Lol. Im decent w/harder to hear lyrics, but then blatantly miss the easiest most obvious ones, so I've been told. Hope someone knows the answer. Sad to learn way too late and very recently that Wayne is gone. I am grateful for the times I was able to see their shows at ozzfest, tattoo the earth, and as the headliners too.

They were even better live. I loved the music and the bands that came out in early 2000+ it was a great time to listen and love metal and its newer sounds. Slipknot mudvayne, hatebreed, soad, superjoint ritual, new sepultura singer and sound, etc. I was not a fan of metal before 2000, but I'm so glad to have discovered its awesomeness. Each genre has its own style, and character. Each genre has a perfect place, time, and mood that is the best fit for it. #Music4Ever #MusicTheLanguage4MyLife

I just found this song at a new job, where they allow everyone loader to play their music......I was walking by, supervising, and this came on. I literally said "who is this? Is it static x?". The two helpers said I don't know. I said who knows? They said so and so. I said, no more loading gets done till I know what this is. They directed me to who knew, I found him, he told me.
