Just came here after re-watching their season 2 arguably the best one for like the 2743 time. We’re in 2024 and there’s 1000s of edits of Vicley, they’re still trending that’s how you know the show fumbled with them. Barrett and Brett did an amazing job with the characters considering they only happened bc of their chemistry. Love of each other’s lives and soulmates, no one is topping VICLEY,best ship and couple of Station 19!! Vic was never the same after he died, but I’m so proud of how far she’s come.

It's been years, and I still get emotional seeing Vic and Ripley---their chemistry looked so real that I had hoped they were together in real life. @Station19 why did kill him off? You took Miller away from Vic and Ripley....after that I feel viewers couldn't take any more hurt being done to Vic. and you lost so many audience members because of that. I have dreaded watching Season 7 because it makes it real that there will be no more Vic, Travis, Gibson(who in my opinion were the HEART of Station 19). Lastly, I was a 911 dispatcher for Police. FIre and Rescue.....because of our weird schedules sometimes the only people available to fall in love with are those who share the same schedules as you. From 1997-2020 I worked 7p-7a. Station 19 you will be missed!!!!

I'm assuming Ripley's character met his demise to show the fragility of life as a firefighter. I guess we can't ALWAYS expect NOTHING to go wrong in that profession, even if it's a TV show. Chicago Fire on NBC has killed off main characters too. I get it, but the real world is tough enough. I need shiny & happy in my TV watching. Also, these writers refuse to let Vic live & love. In the tv show black character never had an happy ending . They can’t kill them anymore so they kill their partner. Same scenario all the tv show black girl chasing the white Guy then after he fell in love with her , they destroy the relation in the worse way for her. Vampire diaries, the good doctor, Chicago fire. Also I noticed they always paint the black girl very strong who is always bossing the white guy she is dating. She pursue him, She propose to him then he died . Only shonda rimes write beautiful story with black or diversity people and they are beautiful and people love her show for that. She don’t need to kill some love story to make others to live .

Incidentally, during the pandemic I came upon TURKISH series and for 2022 I have watched None of my normal US TV series. Chicago PD (Ruzek/kim) , Chicago MED, and Chicago Fire, FBI , FBI most wanted, FBI International, LAW and Order SVU. SEAL Team (Favourite) SWAT , 911.Equalizer.... (The LGBQT has taken over US series) So its not for my SPIRT so ceased watching. TURKISH series allows me to learn their culture and their history. It's a patriarchal society and abusive to women, but plots are REAL life an global issues. I choose what I want to WATCH. (LGBQT is absent in Turkish series ) It's MY CHOICEI to watch what I WANT.

I remember being sooo shocked when Ripley was killed off of the show. But for the ppl saying they stopped watching it bc of Ripley being killed off, you should really give it a try again (if you want of course). It’s actually still really good. Vic has a new love interest now, Theo. Ik ppl don’t give him a chance bc they keep comparing Theo to Ripley, but i like him a lot for Vic. They’re really cute together too. He’s so patient and kind to Vic. I just hope the writers don’t ruin their relationship either. Vic has been through enough.
