What a great story. Taking place in the yards and having a story about station pilots is a good thing to have in a Thomas story. The Foreign Engine making an appearance makes it better and what an accident that was for Percy :) .

Very good. It always was a wonder how the Big Engines would manage when every last one of the station pilots ended up on a branch line. It's nice to have a story that reflects on this as it's bound to be a struggle for them to have to ready their trains as well as pulling them. Donald and Douglas are said to sometimes take on pilot duties at Tidmouth (At least in the RWS) having said that.
