@SaM I know becasue Taemin is my bias. Always has. Just didn't look or sound original. It looked like he was copying someone else. I would like to see more of Ten's personality like his first outing. This sounds and looks forced. Ten is a great talent and his music and choro should reflect him more. Ten has the potential to be a very special and unique artist who bumps out the perception of Kpop with more South Asian influences and he has the chops to pull that off.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't hurt to try, that is the only way you grow, I'm just saying, from my point of view, it feels off, not authentic. Ten has a maturity that is way above this song.

Plus he did say in that exact episode that he was doubtful if it would work and hopes fans like PMD because it’s the real him, implying that DIAD and New Heroes weren’t ‘him’ as they were chosen by other people for him. At this point you just need to watch the Get Real episode and you can find out how happy Ten is with Paint Me Naked.
