Hi! You will have to forgive my brain fog in this video I am afraid-words were hard this day! I am sharing my absolute favourite stationery that I plan on using this academic year when I am studying towards my Childhood and Youth Studies degree.
As I mentioned in the video-PLEASE-do not think you need any of these items-it is just for fun because I love stationery!

@@stacysspace when do module websites open for the October? and do you know how long after registering it takes for the OU to accept your registration? I registered (quiet late) last week and it said it takes up to 10 days for the application to be processed but I'm a bit stressed because it's so close to the start date! Also when do you get your textbooks? Thanks :)

also may I ask how many hours per week you typically study? I know they say 16-18hrs but do you do more/ less than that?

Would definitely love to see the diary fill in because I’ve been looking at that exact diary but not sure how it would work with the OU. BTW watching your vids has finally given me the courage to sign up to begin this October after 30 years of procrastinating about it. Also we have similar stationary styles I used to use a Happy Planner, converted to Hobonichi and massive Kaweco fan as I can write longer with my fibromyalgia using them

Your wish is my command! I have just uploaded a video about the academic planner! Thank you SO much for telling me this-you have no idea how much motivation this gives me. I have been having some really hard fibro days recently, but comments like this give me the motivation to carry on. Let me know what you think of the planner and whether you decide to buy it. If you are interested, I have an upcoming video about Notion and a certain template I purchased relating to OU studies :)

@@stacysspace I would definitely be interested in a video about Notion because I have tried so hard to get my head around it and I just can't, I came to the conclusion it was for use by the younger generation but I don't feel, (uh Hum 50 even though my fibromyalgia tells me I am 70!) so that Notion video will be going into my saved videos list to refer to so many times. thanks so much for the encouragement to get started, your videos have really helped me find my missing confidence. xxx

I use Lamy pens. The Kaweco pens are expensive.

I’m a Kaweco fan too. So light to use if you have chronic pain issues

hey im starting OU in october for music and i was just wondering if you know about this, what are the term times ? like is there term times ? :)

There are what they call 'blocks' which are just like terms to me. I don't know if they are different for different kinds of modules, but Block 1 is usually October until mid/late December when you have 2 weeks off. Then block 2 is usually Jan until Easter, then Block 3 is usually Easter until May and the end of the module. Having said all of that, it may be different for you so when your module website opens, remember to look on there. I will do a video when my module website opens and I will show you how to look if that's helpful? 😊
