Wonderful haul. Thanks for sharing your experience too. Yoseka did an admirable job putting this together. I don't think anyone had any idea just how big it would be. I'm hoping more event planners are paying attention; there's clearly an audience for stationery fests--especially for international brands and smaller artist-based businesses.

YES! There were way more people than I thought there would be which was amazing and I really only ran into one person that complained about the lines. Overall, I thought it went really well.

Glad you had fun. Welcome to the TWSBI fam. I have three - cerulean, eggplant and saffron. I’m a newbie to fountain pens, less than a year, but there is no going back for me. I ordered the TCMC ink from the birthday sale. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. One of these days I am going to make it to a show.

I'm glad you shared such a positive description of the experience with constructive (rather than snipey) suggestions. This was the FIRST event and obviously exceeded expectations, and it is impossible to plan for the unknown! It's going to happen again, and it is going to get better each year, until it is a well-oiled machine! Glad you made it there! What a wonderful opportunity!

Hearing you ❤ the last convention I went to was SO MUCH! I asked if they had quiet spaces (I was newly discovered autistic back then), so that maybe some good feedback you could give them if they plan to do this another year?

That's a good idea! I'm hoping they do send out a survey because I want them to know that overall, it was fabulous and I truly hope there are more in the future, but I do have a few, smallish observations to pass on. Thank you for watching! ☺

Great haul but I'll be honest, just listening to some of the things made me feel anxious... waiting over 2 hours just to GET IN? Nope. Then ALL the people with insane lines? Nope again. And then having stuff sold out? Some of those vendors arent "small" and know how popular they are .... classes sound cool but unfortunate they have crazy prices. That's a bummer too!

The waiting was a bummer, but I was prepared for it and I was kind of stuck since I live in CT and couldn't just turn around and go home, you know? It wasn't all terrible either - I had nice line mates, lol. As for the stuff selling out? Yeah, that was also a bummer but I think that this being the first year, it was hard to truly prepare for all of the unknowns. If they do this again next year, I know it will be even better. :)
