I'm rather confused by the figure shown in 1:08. If the y takes only two values ('0' and '1'), and the black curve shows the probability of '1' coming out, then shouldn't it be that the little blue bars get denser and denser when x approaches 7? Why are there places where there are no blue bars nor yellow bars present (like when x = 1)?

The data might not be generated uniformly from x=1 to x=7.

Hope you had sort it out. Just consider x axis as different individuals (points or cases) that need to be classified. The color bar only means the number of cases or datapoints. Like you mentioned there is no bars when x=1 or no matter what x equals to, which the classification is estimated based on 10% neighborhood rule. They're just my thoughts.

Do you prefer abstract videos, or would you rather there be more concrete details? There are also the books you can download for free on their website; I haven't looked through them but maybe the presentation of topics there would click better.
