I went by Princeton University once and checked out its courses, I saw some statistics problems that I bet you can't solve. KZbin doesn't lack courses in any subject imaginable. I'm Charles Mac Abernathy, 77 -- years -- old, a writer with an eight -- hundred page manuscript, typed and double spaced to finish. I am near the end of this particular book that I am writing. At this time, I am not in desperate need of achievements and recognition as you and your supporters appear to be.

You seem to be in need of a good education in spite of your excellent knowledge of statistics. The whole world knows how to go online and study any topic their hearts desire.
@charlesabernathy58423 жыл бұрын
In spite of how many courses are online, you have no right to go around taking mathematics books or other books of learning out of libraries in minority neighborhoods. People like you go into public libraries and tear out essential pages that demonstrate how to solve important problems in mathematics to ban knowledge from the general public so to restrict scientific skills not only from minorities but also to reserve it for your selfish individual shelves. You pretend to want to teach everyone but make it virtually impossible for all but a select few to get into advance scientific research and schools, not that but so many people could have the lifestyle to get there anyway.
@charlesabernathy58423 жыл бұрын
People like you go into a public library, see s book on Calculus, and tear out good explainitary examples so as others, whoever they are, white or black, can't learn. We can imagine your trying to show others how educated and open minded you are. All the while, you are an academic saboteur, a sick individual.

I completed the course this week on the 31st, March, 2021, after 3 months hard work. Though it's a little pity that there's not a supplement ebook for the lectures, it's a great course on statistics, which I compare as precision shooting. So happy I get the hang of this art with the help of the video course. In order to consolidate the precious knowlege learnt in the course, I'm replaying all the concepts learnt here by following a course lectured by Dr. James Abdey from University of London on Coursera, which I compare to climbing to the top of the mountain by another route. Get on the top guys, the feeling is fabulous.

can u ans this? I don't understand how "finishing time for runners in the labor day 10k race" is ratio. It should be Interval from my thoughts . cause here 0 is not showing any lack. but this video says it's ratio
@justbeingamuffin6285 Жыл бұрын
@@kashifahmaad7489 there isn't any time named 0 on clock. i mean like there are other times like 2 o'clock or 3 o'clock but there is no such zero o'clock. so zero can't be just a point of time, hence time of zero represents absence of time. Which makes it ratio level. Finishing time is not at interval level becauze at interval level, there is no true zero(just like temperature 0Farenheight is at interval because here temperature zero just means its cold, it doesn't represent absence of temperature.,hence no true zero)but here we have a true zero i.e., a value of zero for time means lack of time. hope it helps
@avanitrai15024 ай бұрын
What if I think that finishing time is zero second ... means he didn't even start the race... Should I say zero means the absence of race...So I might consider it as Ration?

For young people who may miss the reference: Every town used to have a book which was sent to each household, government office and business for free if you had a telephone. The book included an alphabetical listing of every household, government and business phone in the town. This is a phone book. Home phones were listed in white pages, business phones were listed in yellow pages, and government phones were listed in blue pages. When we wanted to find a phone number we "Let our fingers do the walking ". The book also included maps, zips codes, area codes, time codes, emergency tips and other useful information. If you wanted your number to be private, you had to pay a fee. You could also pay extra to have your name in bold letters.

Thanks to this video I was able to cover a lot for my exam, but the thing is, the journey of this video was extremely hectic. The ppts look boring. The biggest problem that I found are: 1: I had no idea about the structure of course, where am I going and why? 2: It was 90% just reading what was written on screen. If that's which is not why people come to youtube. It would be great if I could get a tree structure of the course layout, of course you have mentioned the topics in the description, but the thing is they dont tell how it all is connected, and what topics come under one common topic and that while learning them we need to compare them too, which was missing. It was just a one line when it came to comparison.

Had one class in statistics. Got D in it for a grade. Well, I was an academic novice except for spending several years home (prison) studying mathematics. Don't everyone yell foul. I am sure after finding out that I learned mathematics in prison, they took all mathematical texts out of prison mini libraries. In New York City they have taken algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus books out of the libraries in minority neighborhoods. In Richmond, Virginia, they noticed that I was studying several foreign languages. So, they put all foreign language books on reserve for in library viewing only; they stopped foreign language book check outs for home study. Librarians in New York City changed everything after seeing my avid reading and studying. My aunt told my mother, "Don't tell Charles anything. He will tell it.". Later we were told that this particular aunt was actually my grandmother. No wonder she wanted secrecy.

0:39 "Statistics is not a branch of mathematics". Of course, it is. And the reason is that it is possible to prove theorems in statistics. Statistics is a deductive science like the rest of mathematics even if the knowledge obtained from its applications is not deductive because it involves empirical data; however, the structure of the treatment of the data is mathematical.

Keep in mind that deduction can go from the particular to the general, while induction can go from the general to the particular, Deduction is based on the structures of statements. Professor Forsberg, I think Hawks Learning is thinking of "...the zero point indicates the absence of something." in terms that are most applicable to Statistics in the fact that p-values are between Zero and 1. It seems to me that your examples about height and weight as useful for Ratio meanings are illogical; because once we go below 1 in the Denominator - it becomes obvious that Units (e.g. lbs., grams, Newtons, etc) are in question and must be chosen in order to make sense out a ratio with a denominator less than 1. However, in terms of Probability a Zero Point means Zero Probability - which is a very bold declaration and would most likely lead to a rethinking of either Population Parameters or of Sample Characters because a Zero p-value indicates the absence of something in the Statistics. As for measuring from Zero Kelvin making measuring in Kelvins a 'Ratio Level of Measurement', the mistake is that is purely a Theoretical Zero because due to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, Physicists say "Zero Kelvin is not achievable.", and the closer we manage to get to Zero Kelvin we'll have to change the physical substances we use to get closer and the physical objects or fields we'll have to use to measure the change therefore as mentioned before we may have to change the Units of Measure increasing the relative distance between our new fundamental unit of measure and theoretical 'placement' of Zero - therefore measuring in Kelvins is at the 'Interval Level of Measurement' just as measuring in Celsius or Fahrenheit are.
