THE best in class lecture in the topic..I'd be more happy, if you kept your work window (PC etc) into inset PIP...cause we need to go back and forth to see formulae.

Sir, please check the example of two section of classes. In section B when you are calculating the average you are dividing by 50. I think it should be 100. Please confirm. Thanks in advance.

mean-mode=3(mean-median) mode=3median-2mean not able to understand ? what outcome will expect in this median=132 mode = 124 mean= 137.14 137-14-124=3(137.14-13) ???

At 19:49 I think it should be (50*0+50*100)/100 instead of (50*0+50*100)/50.

statistics is easy but data science/analysis is much more taugher.. measurement of cetral tendency,dispersion and probability is just a beginning...real game starts when u start dealing with ANOVA,z test,t test,hypothesis test...things get more more dirty as u go further..so those who are thinking to enter in dis field pls make sure vl u b able to complete it??

in the example @ 19:32 why did you divide by 50 rather than 100 as the number of students were 100?

Interesting how confusing this can be lol as per what I understand parameter is any numerical quantity that characterizes a given population or some aspect of it. This means the parameters tells us something about the whole population..so essentially conditions we can apply to collected data to deduce whatever our objectives was...idk if I am wrong

They both are different. parameter is an unknown constant of population and statistic is a function of sample.

If we look at the standard deviation as one step from the mean, then k would be the number of steps away of the mean.

At 28:50, originally std deviation was 10 then why in calculation 5 is considered and why not 10?

Very Informative but the examples used are too boring and old. Can't we use new examples which are actually related to current situations or data science? These are old school examples from which attention gets diverted and the video gets boring, other KZbinrs are using examples from their work(data science) or current situations. please do it differently not old school teachers. thanks
