do you live in NY? cuz i wanted to do the program u did (columbia SHP) but it says "requires the participant to live within a 75-mile radius of our campus." i live a few states down sigh

yah! i am within that radius so i was able to commute

so should i add whenever i apply- that i got a invitation from columbia university, harvard, NYU, and Browne to do their program over the summer? or is that a letter that everyone gets so it wouldnt be too good... (i didnt go to any of them because of financial issues though)

Everyone gets those. Those summer programs are not really any special other then just the University trying to get more money for kids who think the program will give them an extra "chance" to get admitted.

how much volunteer hours did you put/ get done? i have 200 service hours logged into my x2vol account even though i did more, but because i have 200, i will get 2 service learning diplomas, do you recommend me to keep putting in hours, or is this content and should i focus on other things?

I just got in for class of 2029 ED going test-optional. I don't think it will harm your application but you should make sure your application is very competitive.

Hi! On the website they say that test optional won't harm. I don't think I could help much with the appliction because I don't want to come off as someone who is super knowledgable in the application process. Some things that I did not may not have helped my application :(. Good luck with your application tho 🙏
