There is something that inherently connects all of us engineers and mathematicians no matter who we are or what our background is, and it's the way we shade graphs, mark our results or draw arrows to point onto something. Such a lovely realization I just had. Anyhow...Thanks for the explanation, sir.

Just saw this video for the first time today and a stupid commercial pops up before the video plays, the first 15 seconds the lady from the commercial says, " "Tired of watching old math videos from 2012, come subscribe..." than i cut off the commercial. After completion of the video, @poysermath is a great instructor and the video may be old, like what the commercial was saying (5 years old today), but the math part doesn't change.... Thanks for such a great video and explanation was spot on, I have the Elementary Statistics (By Triola), I have the class and I have a lot of material in regards of this problem... But it wasn't until I saw your video that helped me understand. Thanks again!!

at first I was critic's eye, but then when you took such a concise geometric approach I immeadiatley understood learned: ❖ area under bell curve is always 1 ❖ to find the probabilities z < 0.85 etc., we just use integral of a bell curve ∫(t= -∞ to 0.85)[bell curve(t)]dt
