Welcome to everyone! Today in this video I show you the rubber molds made for the nativity statues. They are 7 cm high and the result as you see from the video is perfect like the one I showed you before. Anyone interested in rubber molds can contact me via facebook or in my e-mail written in my channel info and I will tell you how to to have. The technique used is casting, while the material is cold porcelain powder, very similar to plaster but more resistant.
Materials:
Silicone molds
cold porcelain powder
water
As you can see in the video, I show you the molds and how I did it to get the figurines. I used ceramic powder. As for the powder and water ratio it is generally written on the packaging and generally depends on which brand you use. This I use in 30 minutes is dry, although obviously we have to wait at least a day for the interior to be completely dry. The consistency it must have before being poured into the molds is slightly more liquid than yogurt. As you can see it is not difficult to make the figurines, moreover these molds are very resistant and do not get damaged like the molds made of plaster that after a series of uses some parts tend to wear out. The result is excellent, it does not remain at this point that go to the coloring with acrylic colors. Good ART ATTACK!
