I totally love this Alan Lancaster Composition! Played so tightly by mssrs Rossi, Parfitt, Lancaster, new drummer (as of 1982) Pete Kirscher. Wasn't Alan just the best Bass Player Ever on this track. It's a magnificent Song; very well done Nuff. Could it have been a single for them perhaps; if launched at the right time it could have brought Quo an even greater Fan Base. Also one of Francis Rossi's Best Guitar Solo's... Such a great all round Song. Quo at their Best!!!!

Its cool to have an other kind of sound from al, its rocking great harmony sung, like your kind of love, the last of al s produced songs, unique and powerful... if you listen to his stuff in isolated form, like the isolated guitars or bass, vs drums and no vocals, you see a amazing songwriting person, natural... the best you can imagine. Over and done, dont think it matters, someone's learning, umleitung, backwater, just take me, really me gotta go home, drifting away, dont stop me now, blue eyed lady, is there a better way ect. Those songs are a witness of sher power and strong sense of joy and happiness.

Very Lennon. Love Alan Lancaster, always added an extra dimension to the band. His bass sound always seems so fat and warm too.

Absolutely can not agree with the supporters of this song. This here is just...terrible! Far away from the hard rocking stuff Alan once wrote. Wimped out totally! They promised to release a hard rocking album back in those days. What a disappointment! This is POP ROCK! A friend of mine listened to the whole album hundred of times. I never understood, why.....Greetings from germany.
