The Spice Pilot Standard utilizes a single preinstalled spring with relatively low tension. Especially when installed on the shorter 760 series as in the demo, this makes for an extremely maneuverable and easy to turn Surfskate, most likely prefered by smaller and lighter adult riders, teens and kids.
The Spice Pilot Type X comes with two different swappable Springs allowing for both a loose and easy ride, or a snappier more aggressive setup. We demo on the well proportioned 830 series we would recommend for most adults.
The Spiceskate OKTO introduces an extremely innovative alternative to the single spring truck system by providing a swappable capsule made up of 8 springs working together designed to create a surfing inspired torsion force. There are 3 different capsules featuring increasing torque strength for stronger rebound.
