@@Jeffro5564 I actually understand why he doesn’t go on JRE. I used to think it was weird, but JRE is a show that is serious in tone. Even when comedians go on, Rogan expects that they’ll have a regular, insightful conversation, which must be intimidating for someone who’s expertise is comedy podcasting, which is more in line with improv comedy than deep conversation.

I enjoyed it too but didn’t get it. Just seemed like melodramatic stages of grief short. Sorta like he accepted dying alone and before his elderly mom. Any different pov?

@@jaymann4340 since it was so short, I think it purposely left some room for the viewer’s own interpretation, depending on their own perception of death/suicide. He was depressed and perhaps had a strained relationship with his mother but it was beautiful he was able to say his peace with her before she and/or he himself died. I wondered if he was indeed going to die or if Death was going to give him a pass after becoming friends with him or if he would regret the decision he made at the opening scene. The transition at the ending was beautiful. Even just thinking about it right now, getting teary-eyed. I can only hope that something similar happens at death, for the sake of the loved ones I’ve lost.
