Another old school artist you most likely never heard of is from my hometown of San Diego! Jayo Felony! He has done tracks with a lot of rappers! The first track I heard him on is "Zoom Zoom and wham whams!" A track he was on with multiple artists is "Whatcha gonna do ft Method Man and DMX (2 versions of this song, second one has Red Man, Mack 10 and WC on it)" His first solo album had the tracks to check out "The loc is on his own and Sherm stick!"

You should to listen to Mac Dre. Vallejo legend that is better than E-40 in my opinion and has a pretty big catalog before his death. Start out with Rapper Gone Bad. He has earlier albums that are good but Rapper Gone Bad has some of his best lyrical songs.
