A few years later around 1994 a reporter was sent to conduct Interviews with various engines and the fat controller.- Toby: this strange incident occurred the day after Percy’s accident. We were settling down for the night when I was called for a last minute small goods train. By the time I had returned to the sheds early the next morning Thomas was no where to be seen so I initially assumed he had left for his first train of the day before his crew arrived who where just as puzzled as I initially was. To this day we have no clue what occurred last night. Duncan: Who’s Percy again? The green one? THAT DOESN’T CLEAR UP ANYTHING! There are four damn green engines on this island! Diesel: Good riddance I say…One less steam engine to worry abou-*Lights turn off*…Oh grease and oil… *Slow puffing sounds* Diesel: What the?…Percy is that you?! But that’s impossible you’re stone cold dead! *Whistles* Diesel: AHHHH-*Footage cuts out* Edward: It’s a shame about what happened to our poor number six…But sometimes late at night I get the feeling he’s still out there somewhere…I just hope the poor engine’s spirit eventually finds peace. James: Yah know…I’ve said a lot of harsh things that engine…And insults…And more…One time I told that annoying puff ball that the railway would be better off without a screw up like him…Now…I wish I could take it all back. Gordon: …*Just stairs at the camera silently* Henry: Umm…Gordon? Are you alri- Sr.Toppem: These past few days have been a tragedy and struggle for us all…Two engines lost in the span of a mer two days. Interviewer: Well Toppem have you noticed any strange occurrences lately? Sr.Toppem: Hmm…Well some of the workmen did report some strange occurrences. Something stranger is the fact that in the morning the staff,engines and I would often find the coaches and trucks around napford station shunted neatly in sidings in the yards…Even the first trains of the day would be sitting at the platform waiting to be shipped out…It was around the time I had taken over from my predecessor when security camera’s started to become more accessible around the 1980’s that we decided to set up a few extra around the yards and platforms to see if we could find the cause of these incidents… *Places a cd containing the recording from a few months ago in a old pc.* The footage here is what was captured that faithful spring night. *Shows Oliver leaving with the mail train as the last of the workmen head home for the night.* … *For a while the station is silent* Sr.Toppem- It was at around 12:03am when something noteworthy occurred… *a box car is seen moving as if some invisible force is pushing it* *Slowly various cars and trucks are moved around in the station and surrounding yard eventually leading to everything including tomorrow’s morning trains to be organized and left at the platform’s.* (The next morning.) Edward: …*Arrives at the station to start shunting only to find the first trains of the day are sitting at the platforms waiting* Edward: What the…? Did we receive a new shunter?…I should speak with the fat controller about this.

Even in spirit, Percy still wants to be a really useful engine. That's really sweet.

@@raphaeltessier7565 You think Gordon would feel guilty about all the insults he’s thrown at Percy? Probably something like- Gordon: …You know Edward…I’ve said a lot of things in the past…And for once…I regret everything.

this reminds me of a T&F scene i saw, a yellow engine, either molly, or busy bee James, was crossing an unfinished viaduct, and plunged into the river below, the viaduct, had a gaping hole in the centre, one part of the mainline was fully detached from the other
