I live in Van's home town in Jersey, I went to his bike shop 2by4 all the time growing up when i was getting into bmx. I've rode with him and still know him personally today and he is one of the nicest, most down to earth dudes i've ever met. He was never stingey either about money. If something happened to my bike and I didn't have money to fix it. He'd ask like "dude where's your bike man? what's going on' and i'd tell him something was busted on it but i didn't have any money to fix it and he'd be like 'go get your bike dude, i got it. Don't worry about it'. He'd pull shifts there all the time and you could just hangout with him and the guys and watch riding videos all day. That's what me and my friends did just about every rainy day lol and he never sold shitty parts. he only sold parts he trusted from companies he trusted. Absolutely awesome dude

man i never bmx'd but i grew up with all my friends doing it while i skated and reminds me of the times watching all these videos esp van homan back in the day and road fools. this dude was one of my favs.

I remember getting the Stay Fit DVD with my Van Homan V3 Signature frame, I miss that setup so much, hell I miss building everyone's bikes before they shutdown our local park. Great times. Im currently doing a Sunday/WeThePeople build. After searching everywhere I finally found a Sunday Street Sweeper frame in Rose Gold. Once I'm finished putting it together it'll be added to my collection alongside my limited edition Cult/Animal Build and my Fit/Colony Build. Can't fucking wait!!
