Good information to know but the music seriously needs to go. Very annoying.

This is an important message, especially this time of year when birds are going to start relying on the feeders more.

Once the feeder is cleaned, how often should the unconsumed nyger seeds be completely discarded? Can some of the seed be recycled? Also should I fit a squirrel baffel over the top to keep rainwater/snow from getting into the feeder/ports? Many thanks,

I am very new to feeding birds/ bird feeders but I was wondering all or most of the videos on utube seem to be about bird feeders which are made of plastic or metal. How would you go about cleaning a bird feeder which is partly plastic for the window, slate for the roofing material and wooden around the walls and similarly with all other wooden feeders such as bird tables would it still be the same process of using water and bird disinfectant and so on?

Did you just rinse in the used water?

Looks like it to me. I think I'd rather change out for a fresh supply of final rinse water
