I have to say, I've had the pleasure to be instructed by many people involved in the education of all of the top Scholastic World Winter Guards. And every time one those groups wins they deserve it. Even if they weren't necessarily the fan favorite. The shows that win are technical when they need to be and the shows that are truly innovative are as well. Carmel won this year because they had the formula to do so. Technique, performance, and innovation with something so simple.

Technically, they were right at the time of this comment (10 months ago). Logan did not go to WGI in 2008, and it would be months before Flanagan would win.
