I've been in a few relationships in my life, only one was caring and affectionate. It was my first girlfriend. Something about your first is special. There's no *going through the motions* with your first. I remember we used to hold hands in high school. I'd go stay at her place. She'd lay on my chest and listen to my heartbeat. No Netflix, no movie. Just us enjoying each others company. Sex was fine, but it wasn't why I loved her. She just gave me, a depressed kid at the time a new meaning to live. She did not buy me gifts. Because she gave me experiences. You can't put a price on that. It lasted about a year. That was the only time I ever felt truly in love. That was 16 years ago. I'm in my thirty's now. And dating has changed so much. To the point, where it's not worth it anymore. Every now and then, I still feel her breath on me. Still want to taste her skin. But I know that time is gone. I don't want love anymore, because my love no longer exists. I hope everyone else here will find their love someday.
