Hi Jessica, i'm a Post-doc researcher in food industry/pharmaceuticals and currently working on ion mobility MS method development. Since i finished my PhD i am struggling to find back my productivity and my motivation because my post-doc project is not as pationate as my PhD one, and i found your youtube channel which helps a lot! How was your journey from a PhD to a Postdoc can you talk about that? What do you do to help you stay motivated? thanks, xx

Hi! Thanks for your comment :) that’s something I can talk about for sure! I did find it a bit challenging as I changed research fields too so that was quite a challenge!

Hi, Any chemical or liquid combination can create a bright white light that continues to glow for upto 1 month or more. Is it possible to make it ?

Would you recommend a mac or windows laptop for graduate school in chemistry?

Depending on what software you will need to use for data analysis it might be better to use a windows

Hi there I just wanted to ask can I become a research scientist with only a masters degree ? Mostly because although I love research and I’m extremely passionate about it especially fields like bioremediation and environmental chemistry, I would like to get married at some point after my bsc because unfortunately for me I’m a human and in need of love and companionship etc and i wouldn’t like to completely sacrifice that to become a research scientist, if I didn’t need that I would have just decided to get a PhD no questions asked, 😂 and in my country you can’t really get into a relationship without getting married so it’s not an option, just wondering if it’s still possible for me to work in research or if I should just forget the idea and decide to work in an applied field like industrial hygiene or hazardous waste management or environmental analysis ? the only thing I’m worried about in research is whether it’s mostly laboratory based research or if it’s mostly office based because I’m not really interested in being an office scientist, other than that scientific research especially if it’s hands on in a lab or field is my passion.

Hi! Usually to be a research scientist you would require a PhD. You can become a research assistant without a PhD, which means that you will do lab work but you won’t be creating new projects and applying for funding and usually won’t be writing papers etc so it’s a bit different. Maybe some companies don’t require a PhD to become a research scientist but the positions I have seen online have all required a PhD… good luck!

Your videos are solid . A bit of modern editing could help them appeal to a broader audience and boost interaction.

Hello, thank you very much for the video❤. I am in my first year of undergraduate chemistry, many people tell me that it is very good to do research and write articles during my undergraduate studies, but I don't know how to do this. How can I increase my level, to be honest, I am very interested in being in contact with successful people like you so that I can take a step in the scientific field and help the world.

Hi! Thanks for watching! I didn’t write any research papers until my PhD so I wouldn’t worry too much about publishing during your undergraduate!

❤ thank you. Technology saves lives. Yes I have an idea baby pods instead of pregnancy for women struggling with infertility. The baby comes out at 14 years old out of pod. The baby grows fast and gets out of pod when 14 years old. Parents single parents are eligible. Thank you. Science is the key to saving lives. ❤

Scrintal needs 290 years to complete all their roadmap just to be the 10% or all the rest apps of the market like obsidian, Affine, Miro, Boardmix, etc, etc, etc Sad but true
