This was my very favorite Goosebumps book and TV episode. There were a lot of contributing factors to my...deep love of plants. And I think I can blame R.L. Stine for at least part of it.

Belgoumri Nassoune no I agree with you. Some books actually scared the Sweet Honey Iced Tea out of me, and if you guess what I mean by that, you're awesome😉 How to Kill a Monster and The Haunted Mask of some of my favorites which scared me. How about you? Also it's nice to meet you.
@thehourglassfan35154 жыл бұрын
John B aka Smooth Chocolate Thanks, nice to talk to you too. 😀 For the moment, I’ve only read “Welcome to Dead House”, I started yesterday and closed my eyes while playing the audio, it was purely awesome, the narrator is doing a great job. I’m currently reading “Stay Out of The Basement”, I’m still at the beginning for the moment so please don’t spoil the end for me lol 😆 but I think it’s a great series of books, I love getting scared. I checked some of the titles, and from the books’ covers, I can tell some of them seem awesome. I will still read in the order they were published, adds some kind of excitement to it you know what I mean. “Welcome to Dead House” was great, the end literally scared me witless, the twist was so unpredictable, also I loved the way it was structured, at first they’re moving in the house then, they get to explore the neighborhood and the weather seems to be reflecting changes in mood. The final night was absolutely amazing! Just awesome! I think I’m hooked alright!

I just watched the TV episode after listening to this, and while it is mostly faithful to the book, I think the book is definitely better. Although I have a problem with how the narrator tried to voice EVERYONE, especially since her voice didn't always land. She did a decent job voicing the flower at the ending though. That part was creepy af!

I wonder why Margaret and Casey never asked and pressed their dad that was locked in the closet about why he stepped towards them with an ax after they untied him… that would’ve made me not trust him either. I would’ve doubted him as being my real dad also, how did they not know that it could’ve been 2 duplicates of Dr Brewer. The real one could’ve been somewhere else or completely gotten rid of, and only the 2 duplicates are left
