I didn't ask "why", I asked what you meant, as I wasn't sure which song you were talking about. Or, if it was the one I thought it was (which it did turn out to be), then I didn't remember JRD ever having covered it. But yeah, unlike what most people think of it, "Baby One More Time" is actually a great song, which just happened to be given to a poor singer. I too would be curious to hear JRD's version one day.
