You mentioned that there is no subscription required. However, it wouldn't work through your apple carplay unless you purchased the subscription. This is slightly misleading.

Think you’ve got the wrong info here, there is a subscription model for pro features, at the time of filming the Saphe app (which is also a navigation app) wouldn’t work through Apple car play, however in the latest updates that now works Sound was still coming through which you can here in the video, there is now a Pro model also which a video is coming early January on which gives you 12 months subscription for the pro features

Funny you should say this, mine did the exact same a few days ago after a few weeks of not charging, so I plugged it in for an hour still nothing, so kept hold of the 2 buttons either side for 10 seconds and it kicked back in and also had an update on the app

Just bought Saphe Drive Pro and Im quite disappointed. The website breaks, theres no easy way to upgrade subscription and the product features is misleading. Saphe presents its product as if it can display the near real time speed limit in location but its not! The web app does not show this and the device looks dumb with just battery and gps icon. The device even auto switch off screen and made me doubt if its on or not. I have an App only subscription and I have to buy a new subscription to pair my device. This is despite the price is just the same! The site provides cancellation but its broken because you can only cancel this via Apple’s subscription menu on Iphone. Saphe supports Mobilepay but i attempts to launch the Mobilepay app on a device that I dont have mobilepay. And theres no other way to send susbcription request to my other phone where I do these kind of transactions. I hope theres better alternative to this.

Hi Rich, in the settings on the app you can adjust the volume and tone you want. Mine was loud as I had my phone plugged in for Apple Car Play so it came through the speakers
