Rado is a genius producer and treats these girls so well (even calling them his “daughters”, such a strong synergy between the producer and artists. That’s why their music is just so special. Beautiful Monster is such a masterpiece.

Rado is a real one man. not only because he put out banger after banger, he always shows so much love and dedication for the group and the girls. Girls always talk freely about him. and in the early days when STAYC had less popularity, he was there to be a main punching bag at variety shows (amount of bald, hairline jokes this man went through this period.. bless him really)

This. I can't say I'm a k-pop fan, I only listen to Stayc. But I've heard horror stories about producers and managements, and Rado really shows how it should be. No idols afraid of speaking up, no threatening atmosphere or abuse. You can sometimes see idols literally try to shrink away when a producer enters the room. Here there's none of that. I love all about it. All the best to Stayc and High Up

That is Rado, their producer, part of Black Eyed Pilsung. He used to be a singer/idol too. Known as the hitmaker for girl groups. I think they are at a disadvantage for getting music show wins because they are not from a big music company with lots of resources to put out ads. However, most KZbinrs and reactors have consistently said Beautiful Monster is the best song released in July, so there is widespread appreciation of the quality of their music.

To compete, we as SWITHs would need to continue to share the great music that STAYC has with our friends and families. Just remember, BTS didn’t start off from a large company and took some time to get enormous fan base they have now. Of course, it’s also harder for girl groups from smaller companies to attract new fans. KZbin reactors play an important role in helping get the word out.

I was also surprised by how informal the part allocation bit was. Like he just says ‘from this line to this one’ and they just put a note on their paper. I don’t know what I expected, but I guess them just marking which parts they had with a pen was not it. Loved this episode. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this level of behind the scenes on recording before.
