+levi There is hundreds of years of history of the church doing exactly this. Best know is Martin Luther taking his drinking songs from the bar to be our beloved hymns. We are mixed with the world and while we are strangers we are the light on top of a hill calling out. This song made Jesus smile and fulfilled its purpose of proclaiming and worshiping.
