EDIT : I compared both songs bcz they debuted in same year with very diff. Concepts but both of them got attention .. STAYC were from small agency nd Aespa is from big agency .. still STAYC's style was very good and got so much recognition .. they both were monster rookies nd won the awards together .. ! idc if everyone says this comeback was a flop from stayc. To me, this is yet their best comeback ever. i know it's not on the same level as their previous comeback but I'm glad they did this concept because this shows that stayc are versatile in their concept. I wouldn’t take it too seriously. It followed last years trend of their second release of the year not charting as well as their first but the EP still charted well despite the complaints. I think people just want to hear that kind of experimental kick that usually runs through STAYC titles so they may have been unimpressed but I feel like the goal was a feel-good summer EP and We Need Love hit the vibe (even though it may have been more suited for fall/winter release). I like that even though STAYC producers don’t run away from the style of songs they know people like from them, they still give the girls the opportunity to make music that’s also personally appealing to them.
