yeah there's a somewhat-common myth that koalas get "high" from eating eucalyptus leaves which makes them sleep so much, but it's simply because there's hardly any nutrition in their (very specialised) diet, so they're a very low-energy animal ... Australia's version of a sloth almost lol

I done my WHV for a year in Sydney back in 2016 and miss it very much. I want to quit my job here in the UK and return later this year hopefully. Its an incredible country
