I have had my van for 2 years and have never given the fire extinguisher a thought. Ordered one. Hero sir 👍

Oh dear. But at least you didn’t need one in that time 😁

Smoke alarm should be on a horizontal surface. I.e, the ceiling?
@StaycationLifestyle15 сағат бұрын
Alarms can be installed on walls (check the instructions) However a lot are now fitted on the poptop, therefore horizontal

Not all fire/smoke and Carbon Monoxide are suitable for motorhomes. I found many of them don't work at lower temperatures during wintertime. I have a video on my channel somewhere. Ps the contant flashing lights from them can keep you awake at night. George

Fantastic help. My first rodeo will be this weekend 1300 mile round trip and some of these were very helpful. Thank you

I’ve always found it odd that I’ve never seen a fire extinguisher mentioned in must haves for van life. Im happy you included it
@StaycationLifestyle2 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of videos talk about ‘must haves’ in a different sense. I believe these are essential items. The 5 in 1 I mention is now on offer and I think I will buy as it’s a good one to have easy access to in the glove box

Hi mate, I’m just a bit concerned your carbon monoxide detector is to high. Carbon monoxide is heavier than O2 the best place is anchor hight so if you are getting a build up your warned before you felling the effects. Paper maps done need loading it’s a great piece of mind.

You are correct. They aren’t actually fitted there, I was just demonstrating you need them. Although that is generally where converters fit them

Waze etc are allowed in France as they alert to 'accident blackspots' rather than specific speed camera locations - which is how they get round the restrictions..
