I love your videos Victoria. I agree with the comments below. Your insights about the Leafs and the NHL is beyond impressive. That also includes the Blue Jays and MLB. Your videos have gotten better and better. I really love watching them. You are the honourary Torontonian from across the pond.

Nice to see that wonderful smile again. Hope it lasts beyond Game 6. Go Bruins.

Excellent coverage. Your insights about the Leafs and the NHL is beyond impressive. Such a pity though that you have to stay up so late to watch these games. I agree that the Leafs play with far more confidence when Woll is between the pipes.

Nice to have a fellow European hockey fan, but what makes it even better that you're from Scotland which is not known to be hockey country. What comes to that game time it is even worse here in Finland when lot of games starts as late as 5 in the morning, but keep up with these great analyzes

Another ‘banger’ analysis/review, Victory. I just love listening to you scope out these games. One little observation I have tho’. Face offs are HIGHLY VALUED by all teams (so it’s not underrated, if that’s what you were saying here). Centreman work diligently on this facet of the game, that’s why you may remember during the regular season, David Kampf started in the 3 on 3 overtime’s. He is considered to be the best face off man on the Leafs ! Keep up the great work, my dear, you are a lovely breath of fresh air with your posts of the Leafs !❤❤❤

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I meant more under appreciated by fans, including myself sometimes, and that’s why players like Tavares who have a great track record of face off wins are often not appreciated enough I think! Probably bad wording from me, just my rambling thoughts on the game 😁 thanks so much for watching I’m glad you enjoy them! ☺️

A big thing with Woll is that he is American (from St Louis), not Canadian. So he is less likely to get caught up in all that Canadian media nonsense and curses. He grew up on Blues/Blackhawks and Blues/Stars rivalries, so he understands them, but doesnt feel the direct pressure the way a Canadian netminder would.

I was shocked, SHOCKED at the way that stripe-shirted NHL ruffian accosted young Master Bradley! 😀 The Leafs looked like somebody had forced them to memorize, recite, and copy out every playoff hockey cliche 100 times since Game 4. They played well, just a bit better than the B s, and deserved the win. When last seen by the Toronto crowd, the Leafs were booed roundly and soundly. The Toronto crowd will likely start Game 6 more enthusiastically than they ended the prior game. It's quite possible that the Bruins will be met with a Toronto home ice wall of sound that will take some adjusting-to. You're right about Woll. He played with superb confidence (Did he have prior TDI Garden ice time? Maybe in Beanpot games?) I look forward to Thursday.

Your sparkle is back. Before the playoffs started most teams consider their home games as wins ,and need to get at least one win away. Ironically Toronto's two wins are on the road. Amazed at Domi's faceoff success, not surprised from his overall performance. Bertuzzi and Domi are very noticeable. Woll played great, but in my opinion Samsonov would be expected to win, Woll was expected to lose. Think about that in each of their shoes (skates) . Leafs play a more relaxed game away from home. Media on their case nationally more than other other Canadian teams. Not a fan of Marchand, never was. Tavares plays his game as expected, aging, but very much an asset to the team. Enjoyed your analysis, is spot on.

agreed with Domi on the faceoff. Didn't realize that was a thing

Boston fans are nervous, the dressing room might be as well. Marchand being floored by a linesman has been the highlight of the series for me so far. Brick Woll showed a level of poise not usually associated with rookies in the playoffs. The Domi-Marner-Bertuzzi line is so strong, be a shame to break them up if/when Matthews returns. Leaf fans expected this team to roll over and die in Game 5, not fight tooth and nail. PP remains very concerning, but PK seems to have improved, along with d-zone clearing generally. Just like his dad, Domi takes dumb penalties but didn't in this game. Knies literally skated off the bench to the net and was gifted a well-deserved goal, a reward for his hustle and heart. @Victoria, so which Leafs logo do you prefer, the modern or the classic?

I like Marchand faking the dive but he didn't realize it was a linesman who hit him
@brythkaltarisАй бұрын
Wasn't even a hit, it was a tackle. Both fans should be infuriated by that, it's unacceptable of refs to do that to anyone
@MK-wy2lbАй бұрын
My only criticism of Gm 5 is that Domi passed up chances to shoot. He was trying to be too perfect in outwitting Swayman. He had a perfect chance to shoot on a 2-on-1 break with Bertuzzi. Instead of passing straightaway, he could've forced a left pad save with a hard slapper, causing a rebound that Bert was in a perfect position for. A pad pass in effect. The best way to beat the Bruins is to get pucks on net, forcing the goalie to react. Swayman is playing too well to get beat on first shots, so shoot in volume and crash the net for rebounds.

Physics Domi is Short with a Short Stick so He is Quicker on the Short Move of a Faceoff. I still say make the 3rd Line Robertson Dewar Jarnkrok with Benoit and Giordano This will give Marchand a 1 2 3 Punch to Defend Against.
