We visited the garden in january 2023 and didn't stay in the hotel. Back then we could just enter. No fee, dunno if that has changed. Was a great experience. An Oasis of peace and quietness in the bustling city. Despite all the great stuff in Tokyo, Osaka, Hakone area and Kyoto this was one of the highlights of your Japan vacation for sure.

My mother and I were lucky enough to stay in a garden view suite here about 15 years ago when the hotel was run by another property. It was a very special experience for us. Thank you for sharing, it brought back lovely memories!

😶🌫️ ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My favorite hotel of all you've stayed at. The mist is the main attraction for me, would love other hotels to implement something like this. Something from a dream. Everything looked like perfection. Thank you for sharing with us. 🧘

11:40 - I was curious, so I looked it up. From the pictures I saw on Wikipedia of various different herons, that sure does look like a Grey Heron! Yup, at 13:28, you can see the characteristic black shoulder patches, that look like stripes on the edges of the wings here. I love bird-watching :) You took really good video!

I love this property! I could never afford it, but the hotel is the best I've ever seen.. So many amenities. The garden is beautiful, what with the fog appearing. I have never seen koi jump like that. Are there no benches to sit and enjoy the scenery? I'd have to stay there for 5 nights to get the full experience. Thank you for sharing your stay.
@its_time_to_travel6 ай бұрын
There are benches and a restaurant where you can enjoy the garden view. There are also simpler and more affordable rooms available, and you can visit the garden even without staying at the hotel. I hope you get the chance to experience this hotel someday, even if just for a short stay 🥰 Thanks for watching!

This was the villa of Aritomo Yamagata, a Meiji Restoration hero (third Prime Minister of the Empire of Japan). Until 10 years ago, it was operated in partnership with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Another hotel famous for its beautiful Japanese gardens in the city center is Hotel Gajoen Tokyo.
Que bonitos jardines, imagino que eso lo cuidara el hotel con las ganancias de los clientes. Que dineral pasar una noche ahí, aunque merecerá la pena para ver tan hermosos jardines y más con esas luces de noche.
