During our month long trip to India, we wanted to experience as many facets of Indian life as we could. We decided we wanted to experience village life and discovered a wonderful way of doing just that.
Chhotaram Prajapat's Homestay is located in the village of Salawas, a 30 minute drive outside the city of Jodhpur. Guests have the option of simply staying with the family or alternatively going for a package deal which includes meals and excursions. We went for the later and had a fabulous time.

Used to be a beautiful state with lots of culture and food but rn it's a mess, politicians and media stirred up shi over there.

if i don't visit from village once in 2 months i feel so empty, though i have started a group to bring back earlier Indian tradition of education, sports, singing, arts and culture back to my village, which was unfortunately banned by british empire in 1835. our ancestors thought & worked so hard to create these systems which make BHARAT, joint families joint villages, diversity in people and language,low divorce rates , best education system that world ever knew(currently replaced by Macaulay system), the world class universities which greek and Chinese came to learn from. Me and my friends have pledge to bring it back. hopefully next time you visit you see the change.
