The rooms, the food, everything beautiful, clean and welcoming, thank you for this video 💖

If there is one thing I have learned in all my travels...nothing can stand up to the power of small children running. Not even the fanciest and most sound proofed hotels. In some ways though, the 'patapatapata' can be a comfort. Even in a place I feel just a little too lower class to be staying in, children are unconcerned about all that. Glad to hear you got better quickly. Take care of yourselves!
@WinterFogFilms2 жыл бұрын
I never mind it either. It reminds me of being small, feeling like those hallways never ended. I mean c'mon, they're like airplane runways how are little kids supposed to resist the urge to go so fast. Especially since kids don't really get a lot of opportunities to just RUN. It's cute.
@cuteduckdontlie46362 жыл бұрын
It’s so true ! Once I encountered it during a long 12 hours flight in the business class. I never saw so many kids flying business class but that night and was kinda fun not only boring business “or wanna be rich” people on that side of the plane. Kids is as joy has long it doesn’t disturb others. Parents may get attention to Joy and not confuse it with disturb ! ☝️

A question if I may: why is that an onsen? Does it have thermal water ponds/pools? In the video only pubblic bath is shown, but no particular thermal facility....
@its_time_to_travel2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comments🥰✨ Onsen are hot water or mineral water that gushes out from the ground and contains more than a certain amount of specified ingredients♨️ The source of the public bath in this ryokan is a Onsen called "Moto Hakone Onsen," which contains calcium and magnesium and is said to be effective in relieving fatigue and muscle pain. So this public bath is also a Onsen. It was so refreshing☺️

I like how you show us all the amenities and how they work. I'm very impressed by Japanese hotels. They have so many nice things. Especially the shampoo. They have nice big bottles, not at all like in the US... where the bottles are very small. I suppose that's because people in Japan are more considerate and ppl from the US usually steal the shampoo for some reason. I don't know why. The shampoo in US hotels is awful.

Since you didn't show any video clip of the onsen, I was wondering if there is an onsen for men and one for women (i.e. couples can't relax together in one onsen)? Let me know if I overlooked something. Thx
@its_time_to_travel Жыл бұрын
Yes, the large public bath is separated by gender. At 12:25 in the video, the left side is for men and the right side is for women. I understand wanting to relax together! If you're interested, there are two private onsen baths available for an additional fee where couples or families can enjoy together. Thank you for watching!!🥰

Wonderful video. I especially love the part in your videos where your partner holds your hand while walking or holds your hand as you descend some steps (like in your upscale love hotel video). It is evident you both are enamored of each other. My husband and I treat each other the same, but we are also pushovers for romance. I am only 3 minutes into this video, and I dont like this ryokan. It seems very busy and loud, and with far too many people. Totally the opposite of what I like and what I am looking forward to, when staying in a ryokan. I will continue to watch for a few more minutes, and see if I can change my mind about it.

We are obviously so totally different (apart from that we are both females). I couldnt care less about a handbag, or about what brand a hair drier is (I never use hair driers, as the make my already very dry hair even drier) and other things like that. But thats fine, people are different :-). It would be boring otherwise.

About breakfast: I am liking pretty much everything. It can be omelette, grilled fish, miso soup, fruit salad, fried rice, yakisoba, ramen etc. etc. I especially like locally dishes, like grilled lotus root, unagi or other local dishes. I find natto disgusting, and I dont want to eat salad for breakfast. Otherwise, I am open to everything.
