My husband and I stayed at Loews Portofino many years ago. We loved the atmosphere with the Italian music piped throughout the resort and the food was amazing. My husband has since passed and traveling hasn’t been the same. I now enjoy watching the videos that you, Jay and others post of your adventures. Thank you for doing what you do. Hi Cris-I’m from Texas and we too have had unseasonably cold temps. I am so happy for you that you got milder weather for your staycation! I thought the comment about the TP for the “lefties and the righties” was hysterical- it made me laugh out loud. I was just thinking it was a back up roll-I like your explanation better 😂

Cris, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself at Sapphire falls Resort. We resort hopped to it and all of the Universal resorts two years ago. We still haven't been to Royal Pacific yet. But we will check it out this year. I know Tampa Jay came to my hometown Atlanta for the weekend. I wish I could have known and hooked up with him for lunch or something.

You should really check out Royal Pacific, it's the next tier up and includes free fast passes for the whole day. The pool is probably less kid friendly, as it doesn't have a slide, but everything else about it is perfect

Great video Cris! I stayed there about 5 yearsa ago and it's a nice resort. Having the water taxi to Universal was very useful cause like you said, it's a long walk (which we did the first time cause we didn't know how long of a walk it was, lol). You look great also! Thanks again for your vlogs

Absolutely beautiful resort and pool! This and Aventura are the only Universal Resorts that we haven’t had the chance to stay at. (We were passholders prior to starting our channel). And we LOVE them. Hard Rock is my favorite and Jess’s is Royal Pacific

Just stumbled onto your channel. This was such a nice tour of the hotel and blog about your day at Sapphire Falls. So refreshing to hear you say that $200 a night was expensive and that it was a treat to spend that kind of money on yourself. I've done Disney and Universal and both are very expensive. As a family I think we enjoyed Universal more, we stayed at Royal Pacific but that was in 2019 before some of the newer hotels were finished.

Really nice video Thank you Stay away from alcohol, high sodium foods and processed foods / caffeine when one suffers from vertigo Those Chex mix , pizza and fries are salty and foods to avoid

Mine is in the brain, migraine related I am on medication and the diet and have been attack free for many years A neurologist diagnosed me Started very young and now I’m 55 and feel great I also cannot do rides and must take Dramamine to take planes boats are out May you feel well very soon! Hope you’re able to make it to Volcano Bay this year! We always made time for it; it’s our favorite of all the water parks. If you do, you’ve got to try the Waturi Fusion, it’s amazing!

You can’t even get a Value resort at Disney for $200!!!I’ve only stayed at Dockside Value resort, was a great deal!!! Especially compared to WDW prices👎 🖤love it, u are on a weekend trip!😎 boy could I use a Solo hotel weekend, like u wouldn’t believe🥴🤪 Side note, always Amazed me that all the Orlando Park hotels charge for parking, should be included in the room cost, right?!?!🤪
