We just got back from staying at the Maswik Lodge in the Burrow building. We loved it. We had a deck on the second floor. It was great. It was also nice and quite.

@@YellowProductions Do you ever have issues finding parking because you check in later? We had issues a few years ago with Yosemite bc we rolled in around 6pm and Curry Village's parking lot was almost full. We had a better parking experience getting in earlier when we did Yosemite Lodge around 12pm. Haven't done Bright Angel, but did stay in Tusayan - parking was pretty iffy as well at night for Red Feather.

Absolutely great location and views, and the property’s attractions and amenities look very interesting, but for my taste that cabin room looks like a mean medieval torture chamber. At least you had your own bathroom. 😅

Honestly I try to not stay in places anymore that are awful. So 2.5 tophers is the lowest. Circus Circus Manor Rooms would definitely be zero Tophers

This brings back memories. About 30 years ago, my family and I went to the Grand Canyon without making a reservation so they told us at Bright Angel to comeback exactly at 2 pm to see if there were any cancellations. We did and lo and behold….we got one of those cabin rooms! It was right next to the trail. Amazing!
