Staying in Malaysia while working in Singapore with RTS?

I do not foresee a big uptick in demand for housing on the JB side because of the RTS. Singaporeans can afford the Public housing provided, so although JB is "cheaper", is it worth it to invest in MY? Also, Singapore is no longer the International "draw" it was like 10 years ago - its just too expensive. A smart young person today, looking to get in early and is disciplined should consider Phnom Penh.

will still have to see how CIQ on both sides are set up. if it is fully automated and easily manned by just a few officers, then all counters can be expected to be up all the time and processing will be quick. if it is still manually manned, and counters are not open due to manpower shortage, then it'll still be a bottleneck...
